Elliot S Stomel

I, like many people made a mistake and was caught with possesion of a CDS in Haddon Heights, NJ, which I was arressted for. I was charged with possesion of a CDS, Paraphanalia, and on top of that received motor vehicle tickets for possesion of a CDS in a vehicle, amongst two other minor motor vehicle... tickets. Hiring Elliot was the best decision I ever made. Since I had no prior criminal history he was able to first get my case dropped from Superior Court down to Municipal Court along with getting my possesion ticket downgraded to a failure to give a CDS to police charge. At Municipal Court he was able to get me a conditional discharge with only 6-months of probation. Plus, he was able to have all three of my motor vehicle tickets dropped completely. He was absolutely amazing! He is also the most honest lawyer I have ever met and is not the type of lawyer who tries to nickel and dime you for everything. Even though my court date was postponed twice, he did not charge any additional fees for each court apperance. Elliot is also extremely respectful in court and knows how to speak to the prosecutor and judge appropriately. Unfortunately, after he was able to provide me with the best case outcome of my charges, I violated my first probation visit and it landed me back in court again. I hired Elliot to represent me again and once again was able to keep me in the conditional discharge program. To top it off he was able to get my probation to remain for a duration of only 6-months, but just had to be restarted from my court date. I was blown away that he was able to get this outcome for me. I would highly recommend Elliot to everyone. He will not let you down and will do everything in his power to get you the best outcome of your case. I am extremely grateful for everything Elliot did for me and can never thank him enough.

Where to start? I had got a few tickets sent to me in the mail. I was shocked and very concerned as the tickets can result in me losing my license for a lengthy time which would effect my ability to work and see my daughter. I needed a good lawyer and after searching the and reading reviews; I decide...d to go with Mr. Stomel. I could tell of chose better. From the very first moment I stepped into his office he made me feel comfortable and assured me I would be ok. He took the time to explain every charge and the possible consequences if found guilty. Again, he assured me it was very reasonable to for him to aquire a better results than what I was charged with. Also, he aloud me to contact him with any questions I had while waiting to go to court. If he did not pick up the phone when I called he had called me back within minutes. When going to court he had achieved every result we were shooting for. I walked out with paying a very small ticket. And no points and the biggest charge " hit and run" being dropped. 3 charges...all could of resulted in heavy points and/or loss of license. Mr. Stomel stayed with me even after court was finished to make sure all the paperwork with the court clerks was done and put in the system correctly so nothing negative happens down the road. I have hired Elliot Stomel twice for DUI/reckless driving charges in NJ. What I really liked about hiring Elliot is he was available and doesn't keep you waiting and wondering. When I called him for an initial consultation I had to leave a message be then he return my call promptly within an hour or... two, and it was HIM, not a different representative or an admin assistance/paralegal. He gave me good honest advice and I set up an appointment to meet him in his office. He answered all of my questions and he shared his knowledge. I felt like he had my back and I had confidence that I was in good hands. He was more expensive than some of the others I interviewed but considering the service and the results I don't believe he is over priced under my circumstances. As far as results, I believe Elliot Stomel did at least as well as anyone could expect under the circumstances. In one case he got me completely out of a DUI and a reckless driving charges. I had Elliot Stomel as my Lawyer for a very unusual case. I was very unsure of which Lawyer I should go to so I began searching and found Elliot, I began reading reviews of all the great things he has done and all of the experience he has had in court rooms for many many years. So I gave him a call, ...explained my situation, and before I could even finish the story with details he had already looked up my charge and began to plan the solution for it. He explained everything VERY THOROUGHLY and helped me understand exactly what everything meant. It really showed in him how great of a Lawyer he really is and his experience with working over the years with many many clients. The difference I have had with Elliot over other Lawyers is Elliot actually cares about you and your case. He is always available to answer questions, when the court case is scheduled he will contact you before the date, and then again on the date of, you will meet him there, and from the time you walk into court room until the time you leave that court house and walk into the parking lot to leave, Elliot Stomel will literally be by your side the whole time. He has been studying Law for so many years, hes been a Prosecutor for many years as well, hes been around a long time and knows his stuff, and on top of that knows a lot of people. He went through the entire case is such a professional manner it was almost funny to sit there with him before the judge came in, and just look at all the other people in the court room who there lawyers didn't sit with them, or talk with them before hand, some of the people didn't even know who there Lawyer was yet, they never even met in person or anything. I was very comfortable and confident going into my court case with Elliot, he did an amazing job handling my situation and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. 5/5 stars I would recommend him for any cases that you have at all. I made a terrible decision one night, and as a result of my actions. I got in an accident with two friends in the car and as result got charged with dwi and 6 other traffic violations and two fourth degree assault by autos. I have bit of a record and have had an underage drinking and driving + refu...sal also. Court was very drawn out and very difficult for me but Elliot was there to answer any and every question I had along the way to help me ease my worries. Finally at my first court hearing I was offered probation and to be convicted of the felonies. Needless to say I was very concerned with being under state supervision and being convicted. I was previously offered pti in my case but because I had a previous conditional discharge I wasn't able to get one. I came to grip that i would just be on probation and at least facing a year of license lost. During my last court date only my second appearance Elliot showed his true colors and how much of a warrior he could be in the court room. I still don't know how he did it but he was able to talk the prosecutor into dropping my charge to simple assault and getting all other tickets thrown out besides the dwi. And this prosecutor even had to ask his supervisor if he had permission to do so. At this point i was very nervous. At first the court was going to charge me as a second offender because of my history but Elliot did some quick thinking did a little research, and even called a buddy of his who was a judge to confirm I should only be charged as a first offender. As we took the stands the judge and prosecutor didn't believe I should be charged as a first offender in which Elliot stated two different cases in reference as to why it was unlawful for me to be charged as a second offender, the judge then asked us to stand down while they figured it out. A few minutes later the judge called us back and she, and the prosecutor seemed to be embarrassed to say that Elliot was right in this scenario. The judgement that was then handed down to me was the minimum amount of fines for simple assault which was only court cost and fees totaling 158 I believe and than with the dwi I was issued a 7 month suspension, 7 month interlock with the minimum fines all together my fines came to 860 dollars if I can remember correctly which I prepared to be paid in full and out of the way. I am still in shock of how much Elliot came through in the clutch for me in the last moments. Words cannot describe the stress I have been under for the last year and some change. I started out thinking I would get 18 months in prison over 20000 dollars in fines at least two years loss of license and even after our first court date I was content with getting probation as I just didn't want to go to jail by any means. The results exceeded my expectations and I can confidently say that all the 10/10 reviews for Elliot are truthful and he is indeed an exceptional lawyer. He is truly a life saver and worth every penny spent. Even in a court that he wasn't as familiar with as other courts he goes to he still went above and beyond for me. As I sit here today still in shock I am extremely glad I won't be labeled a violent felon for the rest of my life and in 7 months time I will have my license back and be back on the road and can put all of this in my past where it belongs.
