Earlier in the year I received a DUI and underage and couple other tickets. I wasn't entirely drunk I blew under the legal limit but unfortunately the legal limit law didn't apply to me since I was under age. I knew instantly I needed a lawyer. I found elliot on avvo and hired him to be my law...yer due to his reputable reviews and experience. It was a very smart choice I made. Elliot walked me through the process and answered every question I had and was very knowledgeable on the law. He was always available for call and if you missed out on a call with him he would always return it and not someone else. He also never schedules multiple cases in one day because he feels when he is in court, he is in court with you, representing YOU only, nobody else and no other clients which is a great practice. The day of court we knew we were going to face a very tough judge ( I faced this judge before ). A judge who doesn't accept apologies, and if you say the wrong thing to him or aren't careful with your words he WILL rip you open. One great thing elliot did was he showed up really early before court just to talk to the prosecutor and sit down. This man sat with the prosecutor and talked through my case with him, over an hour and thirty minutes before court. If that doesn't show dedication and how much Elliot cares then who knows? In the end majority of my charges were dropped and the goal to reduce the final charge which I was pleading guilty for and I WAS going to get the maximum penalty for because the judge was just that difficult, we were able to hit a slightly more reduced charge which was a lot better than the maximum penalty. As elliot said, "It was a homerun." And I can 100% agree with that.

Hired Mr. Stomel for a junevile case that could have gone to adult court. Charges were severe, he was able to keep the case at the juvenile level and have the charges reduced. Mr. Stomel was very professional, attentive, answered all of our questions in a way we completely understood and gave us grea...t advice. He was prompt with return phone calls and explained every step of the way what was going to happen. There was one time when we were not notified that a court date was changed for the following week. While speaking to Mr. Stomel a few days before the date we were to appear, he mentioned that the date had been postponed until the following week. I do not know if this was an oversight of the court or Mr. Stomel that we were not notified. The case was handled within 8 weeks time. The final outcome of the case was the best possible scenario that we could get. Mr. Stomel is very easy to talk to and he will do what is best for his client. I would highly recommend Mr. Stomel.
