I recently received 2 DWI's back to back, one down near Atlantic City, the other in Central Jersey. Believing DWI's were near impossible to beat, I surrendered to the fact that I would lose my license for 31 months and have 2 DWI's on my record, in addition to other penalties and fines. Mr. Grasso was able to get me out of two DUI's. He exploits holes in the prosecution's argument and was able to do this TWICE for me!! Being charged with a DUI or a DWI in NJ is a serious offense with extremely structured penalties enforced by NJ prosecution. To negotiate a lesser penalty, for exa...mple only a loss of license, INSTEAD OF LOSING YOUR LICENSE AND PLEADING GUILTY TO THE DUI/DWI is unheard of. One only gets charged with a DUI or a DWI when there is substantial evidence that the individual is under the influence while driving a motor vehicle. If you get charged with something such as this there are very little ways of getting out of it. Most lawyers won't even bother trying to get the charges completely dropped, they will simply try to negotiate a guilty plea in exchange for lesser penalties. Michael Grasso WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO PLEA GUILTY. He will get the charges dismissed and you will not be charged with driving under the influence. Do not even consider using a different lawyer for motor vehicle or criminal matters, if you want to be found "not guilty," and just pay some fines, hire Michael Grasso. If you want someone that's just going to stand next to you in the court room hire someone else. I personally like to hire an attorney that will get charges dismissed as opposed to an attorney that simply wants to negotiate a guilty plea. Why hire someone and still be found guilty when you can hire a lawyer for the same rate and be found NOT guilty!? If you do not hire representation like Michael Grasso you do not stand a chance at being found not guilty. The proof is in the results… I was charged with DUI TWICE and Michael Grasso got the charges dismissed BOTH times. You are reading this correctly… I was issued summonses for driving under the influence twice, and today I do not have driving under the influence on my driving record, only points for reckless/careless driving. Mr. Grasso is really impressive and knows the law. He was representing me for a felony drug charge when I stupidly went out and picked up new charges. I felt like I was doomed.
