Mr. Marvin Wolf:
For anyone who’s faced the reality that a bankruptcy may be their fate, you know it’s not an easy conclusion or decision to come to. There are many questions along with the gamut of emotions. Do you try to go at it solo or find an attorney you can trust? Facing those realities myself, after my initial meeting with Mr. Wolf, I realized he was the person I wanted to represent me. Never feeling pressured, he clearly explained my options, what to expect and what my responsibility would be to best facilitate the process. Thoroughly answering any questions or concerns I had, he continuously brought me peace of mind – something I had not had in a very long time. His knowledge, professionalism and level of communication from beginning to end were exemplary and I am so very grateful! If you are contemplating a personal bankruptcy, I would recommend Mr. Wolf in a heart-beat.
In this challenging economy, it's easier to fail than succeed. Creditors keep coming up with new tricks to cheat debtors. I primarily handle debtor cases - chapter 7, 13 and 11. My practice involves creative problem solving, pre-filing debt negotiation, and using bankruptcy and state consumer protection laws to get results for my clients.
I file and defend divorce proceedings, draft prenups and separation agreements, litigate Family Court issues, and negotiate settlements in complex matrimonial issues that can also involve immigration and debt/bankruptcy problems.
Clients are surprised that I answer my own phones, but that is the kind of attorney that I want to be. I like to craft clever solutions for debt, matrimonial or business problems. I have offices in 3 states and run around a lot, but when you retain me, you get me.
Bankruptcy law is more than filling out petitions - you deal with people's lives and futures. Most of my bankruptcy caseload is debtor oriented, but I do represent creditors when fraud is an issue.
Foreclosure defense can be frustrating because the servicers can make more money from a sheriff sale than from a workout, so they seldom cooperate.
Divorce law is tough and takes an emotional toll on everyone. I prefer to settle issues rather than just run up billable hours in stalemates, but when I have to fight, I fight. In litigation, my philosophy is that you can get more out of it by using a scalpel rather than a hammer.
The hardest part of my job is watching adults break down and cry in my office and the best part of my job is seeing the physical change in a client when they walk out of court with a successful result - you can actually see the weight come off of their shoulders. Â

Thank you MR. Wolf!!
I called Mr. Wolf to see about getting representation and he listened to my problem and proceeded to tell me what i was up against in plain talk which to my surprise is very rare these days. I didnt feel rushed or like he didnt have time for me even though i already had an attorney and it was clear i posed no new business for him. I am very grateful and will recommend him to anyone moving forward , and i myself will definitely be using him if i ever have the need again.

A passionate and knowledgeable advocate
Mr. Wolf helped me through the challenging process of filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy. He ardently embraces his advocacy role and focuses his practice primarily on helping people like me to successfully navigate through the bankruptcy process. Also, since his is a "one man shop," you never feel like you are simply "billable hours" for a large law firm. I always felt like a valued client and gained confidence each time I met with Mr. Wolf. I enthusiastically recommend Mr. Wolf if you are considering bankruptcy.

MY GOOD FORTUNE
Yes, good fortune is what I found when I met Marvin Wolf. Not only did he inform me as to how to deal with my debt situation, he did it in such a manner as to empower me. His knowledge of the law and the way in which he shared that knowledge with me allowed me to deal with my difficult situation without feeling intimidated by it. Without his guidance I doubt the outcome I experienced would have been as positive as it was. Many thanks to this fine, generous-of-spirit lawyer.

Every once in a while we get lucky
The world of litigation can be scarey. But all that changed for me when I met Marvin Wolf. I learned more in just one meeting with this gentleman than in all my other dealings with attorneys. Not only did he inform me, but did it in such a way as to empower me to deal with my situation. Along with all that the man has a big heart, and he wears it on his sleeve. I count myself lucky to have found an attorney who is definitely on the side of the 'little guy.'
