We worked with Melissa on our house purchase. She was friendly and protective to us, and tough to the seller side. As first time home buyers, we had lots of concerns and questions about real problems and non-existing problems, and also lot of requests that are either reasonable or unreasonable. Melis...sa was patient with our concerns and questions, on top of things and always had a way to make our reasonable requests happen. On the day of closing, the title company made a mistake and overcharged us for our pro-rata share of property tax. We raised this issue after the closing to Melissa, she contacted the title company and seller’s attorney to ask for the refund and was able to get the full overpaid amount back to us after numerous back and forth with the seller’s attorney that last for about a month. We really appreciate it and will ask her to be our attorney for any future need.
