Allison E. Holzman

You always hear that lawyers are not out for your best interest. I would like to debunk that statement in my experience with Allison. I found that Allison was always looking out for my best interests and gave me succinct, detailed and ultimately trustworthy advice. Many times during a divorce pr...ocess you feel unsure if you are making the right decisions and I felt that with every phone call to Allison she allayed my fears with her practicality, wisdom and experience. circumstances Beyond that, I found Allison to be of excellent character and the type of woman I would want to count among my friends had we met outside of these circumstances. She is fiercely loyal, witty and genuinely makes you feel at ease. I would highly recommend Allison for so many reasons as stated above, but in the end, I trusted her judgment during a long, contentious settlement.

I contracted Allison to help reduce my alimony based on certain stipulations in my memorandum of understanding. Allison wasted no time in getting down to business and quickly understood the terms of my agreement and the actions that she felt I was in rights to take based on the document. Allison was... very cognizant of minimizing my cost of doing business. There was no wasted time spent on fruitless activities, All actions that were taken were done in a cost effective manner. I was very appreciative of that. Allison was very good at responding to e-mail questions in a timely fashion. Allison gave her opinions on certain matters and was strong in delivering her advice but at the end of the day would listen to what I had to say and would incorporate my input if I felt strongly enough about it. I would definitely recommend Allison and use her again on any other issues. She is knowledgeable and easy to work with.

Allison took a very difficult situation and made it totally manageable. She is clear and concise in explaining everything but never made me feel like my questions were stupid. She handled the complex areas of foreign assets with ease. Allison has a personable approach I really appreciated and obvio...usly had my best interests at heart. Allison kept me informed, advised well and accepted my wishes and always checked in before confirming anything with finality. I appreciated her flexibility and patience with me and her ability to not make me feel judged.
