Mr. Economos provided inadequate advice and significantly underestimated fees, even for routine tasks such as filing simple forms. His approach to the case was passive and lacked strategic direction. While he initially appeared helpful and reassuring, that changed as the case progressed. Critical gu...idance—such as procedures for child support garnishment and subpoena submissions—was either inaccurate or entirely omitted. Instead of focusing on substantive legal matters, Mr. Economos used court conference time to advocate for the allocation of legal fees to himself and a mediator he personally recommended. These discussions were unnecessary, especially given that all invoices had been paid promptly. After I terminated his services, Mr. Economos failed to return the remaining legal fund balance. He initiated unauthorized activities that further depleted the account and withheld my funds for nearly four months without justification.
