Transparency Lacking, Complaints Were Necessary

I hired Rosenblum Law to handle a simple traffic ticket. After paying $599 upfront, I was met with poor communication, vague updates, and a clear lack of interest in my case. I provided a detailed statement with key context that could have affected the outcome — they ignored it. Weeks went by with co...py-paste replies and no clear plan. Only after I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the NY Attorney Grievance Committee did they suddenly offer a full refund and "suggest" we part ways. The timing made it obvious this was a reaction, not a resolution. It felt like I was being pressured to withdraw my complaints in exchange for my refund. This was not my first experience with the firm — they previously handled a case that was dismissed, and even then they never explained why. The lack of transparency, professionalism, and basic respect across both cases was consistent. I got my money back, but the experience was exhausting and disappointing. I’m leaving this review to warn others — don’t mistake their marketing for solid client care. It isn’t.

At Rosenblum Law, we strive to tailor our communication style and case strategy to the individual preferences of each client. At times, despite our best efforts, expectations may not fully align. I'm glad we were able to achieve a positive result in your prior matter, and our team was equally committed to helping with your current case. However, based on our recent discussions and in the interest of ensuring you receive representation that fully aligns with your expectations, I suggested that it might be appropriate to end our professional relationship. Given that your court date is several months from now, you would have ample time to secure alternative counsel. As a gesture of goodwill, we offered and processed a full refund, despite the work already completed on your case — an offer you accepted without further request. If you would still like to discuss this matter further, we remain available to speak with you at your convenience. Our goal remains to resolve any outstanding concerns amicably and professionally. Sincerely, Adam H. Rosenblum Principal, Rosenblum Law

Waste of money, very rude!

I hired Rosenblum law to represent me in court, In order to fight 2 tickets I received for moving violations in New York City. Not only did they fail to fight any of them. They were also very rude when I called them up to discuss strategy. It's a waste of time And money to use their services.

FAILED: On 3 NYC Tickets

After reading nothing but raving 5-star reviews, I eagerly plunked down $1,350 total, (over a period of a year and a half for 3 different NYC tickets I got while driving for Uber in Manhattan), with the hope of saving myself 6 points on my driver's license. Since I was driving for Uber as my full ti...me work at the time, I was pretty desperate not to get these points. They correctly did not *guarantee* that they could take care of them. But they told me what they would do, put them off as long as possible and hope when the cop showed up at court a year or so later, he would have forgotten certain details and the judge would rule in my favor. They told me this often worked. It worked often enough, apparently, that the girl felt I wouldn't be wasting my $450 for each ticket (now $500+) to give it a try. However, I was found GUILTY on ALL 3 tickets. And yes, I feel very cheated. Why? Because, they could have divulged that they don't have a very good success rate on New York City tickets. Or, they could have simply honestly told me what their success rate was. They didn't do that though. And because they didn't, they led me to believe (without specifically saying so), that there was a pretty good chance they could get them dismissed. The reality though, is that in NYC traffic court the chances of getting a ticket dismissed are slim to none whether you have a lawyer or not. So, I ended up paying total, $1,704 for what would have been just $354 if I had paid the tickets outright. And I got the full two points on my license for each ticket, giving me a total now of 6 points. Which is EXACTLY what I would have gotten if I hadn't hired a lawyer and paid them $1,350. If your ticket was issued in NYC... forget it. Just pay the damn thing and save yourself a ton of money. No lawyer can help you in NYC.

While many of our cases are in locations where we can do our utmost to guarantee success because those areas permit us to negotiate a reduction, in NYC that is not permitted. That's why we told you - as you stated in your review - that the results are not guaranteed. The reason we make no representations about our "win rate" is because each case is unique and therefore we also don't want to mislead people about their real chances of winning or losing. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, you were found guilty by the judge all three times. That doesn't mean it's not worth fighting a NYC traffic ticket - after all, "you have to be in it to win it." If you plead guilty then you eliminate any chance of winning that you may have. And many of our clients do win and end up reaping the rewards of our skilled efforts. We therefore encourage any individual with a ticket - even in NYC - to contact us for a professional assessment of what we feel can be done. As in your case, we will be sure to explain the potential benefits and risks of taking the ticket to trial and will be fully up front and honest in so doing. - Adam H. Rosenblum

One of the best choices I've made.

I am glad I chose Rosenblum Law Firm (RLF) to represent me to fight a ticket which could've costed me money and points. I acknowledge I could have handled the situation better (surely will in future), but I didn't feel it was fair as I got "forced" into committing the traffic violation. The RLF law...yer I interacted via phone first and email later, was professional, understanding and helpful when I explained at great lengths why and how I got ticketed by the somewhat overzealous officers. Apologies in advance for the length of this review, but I must add a premise to put things into perspective. I was riding a motorcycle when got issued the ticket, probably that didn't play in my favor. We know the reputation biker's have, no matter how carefully and defensively one may ride, usually one is "guilty by association". I also love my KLR, but sadly that's the bike of choice for many who take the streets riding chaotically, doing wheelies, taunting drivers, etc. I am way far from being such kind of rider. I ride to commute and enjoy the ride (all year round). I'm not interested in childish show-off behaviors. To some that's "boring", I call it safe. I ride always aware that a split second distraction can end in catastrophe and while I don't let such thoughts ruin my rides, I Íride as responsibly as I can at all times. Still, I'm far from perfect and not immune to making bad calls, even if done to try and avoid danger. This ticket was exactly that. I passed a truck (a 2 axels, not an 18-wheeler) in front of me while on a single lane. I passed on the left riding on a large painted divider fitting the bike's full width (didn't invade the other lane). I did so in the most careful way possible. I waited until we were all stopped at a traffic light and had enough space in front of the truck to fit the bike before the pedestrian crossing. I do acknowledge that's still a violation, but the sole reason why I did it was due to being tailgated by a very distracted, reckless driver who kept texting and driving. She couldn't care less that not stopping in time meant running over a biker! After the 3rd close call where she panted her brakes and almost hit me, I decided to get away from that killer driver. Admittedly was more a reaction fearing for my safety (one which probably also involved some adrenaline) rather than a well thought through move. Lesson learned, if I'll ever find myself in the same situation, I'll just pull aside and let the jerk pass me so she can go get stuffed under a truck instead of me! ;) I wasn't happy to get a ticket not so much for the fine and points but more because I felt it was unfair the reckless driver got away with it while I got punished for trying to avoid getting injured (again I acknowledge I could have handled it better). That was the main reason why I decided to hire RLF and be represented by professionals with experience who would maximize the chance of getting my reasons across to the judge during the hearing. I wasn't present at the hearing but I'd like to think the lawyer presented my case and my reasons, leading the judge to understand and apply leniency given the circumstances. Regardless I am very pleased with the results and would wholeheartedly recommend RLF to anyone looking to get legal representation on a traffic violation.
