I'd like to think that I can read "legal speak" pretty well, and I've had good luck representing myself when interfacing with governmental entities in the past, but the USPTO is an entirely different animal. The examining attorney was citing irrelevant examples and throwing ridiculous objections at m...y application until Gene stepped in on my behalf. He helped me navigate the red tape, and finally found a solution that the examining attorney would accept and thus my mark was allowed to be registered. It took more than 15 months of back-and-forth with USPTO, and Gene stuck with me throughout the entire process. A very professional guy with decent taste in music, might I add. Highly recommended. Gene provided excellent services throughout our trademark filing process. After our initial trademark application was filed, we received an Office Action letter from the USPTO Examining Attorney assigned to our case. Gene was able to get the Office Action resolved quickly with the USPTO. Then, aft...er our trademark was published for Opposition, we did receive opposition from 1 company, but Gene was able to get this issue resolved quickly also. We applied for our trademark and received an office action. A few days later, Gene sent us an email regarding his services and we agreed to have Gene look over our application to see if he could help us.
