Biography
I handle cases which involve serious personal injury and wrongful death. I invest tremendous time, energy and resources in every one of my cases. I take the time to meet with my clients and to listen to them. I use innovative action-based techniques which allow me to get to know my clients' stories - their lives, the effects of their injuries, their personhood. This, in turn, allows me to tell and show the jury the truth of my clients' story in a straightforward and honest way. I screen many cases but accept only a few in order to fully and completely dedicate myself to each case.
Frequently I am associated into cases by other attorneys.
I am Board Certified as a Specialist in Civil Trials. I am rated by Martindale-Hubbell as AV Preeminent. From 2005 to 2015 I was on the Board of Directors of Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyers College. I am a member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, New Haven County Bar Association, the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Form, The National Trial Lawyers and the Black War Bonnet Society.
