Amber is a skilled trial attorney, with more than 12 years of litigation experience, who practices in the areas of: criminal defense, family law, personal injury, medical malpractice, civil rights, and general civil litigation. She is a zealous advocate for her clients and has experience in both prosecution and defense. She has practiced law in Florida and Maine, and has been involved in several high-profile to entering private practice, Amber previously served as a prosecutor for the Maine Attorney General’s Office, specializing in felony drug crimes, and as an Assistant Public Defender in Tampa, Florida, where she represented thousands of individuals in felony and misdemeanor cases. Amber has tried over 60 cases to verdict, more than half of which were jury trials and has litigated numerous evidentiary hearings.

Amber was an adjunct professor of sociology and criminology at the University of New England and has taught seminars in drug law and drug crime investigation to law enforcement officers throughout Maine.Â

Amber is originally from Rhode Island, but grew up in Fryeburg, Maine. She lived in Florida for eleven years before returning to Maine.  Amber enjoys boating, sunshine, and traveling to Gillette Stadium to watch the New England Patriots.
