Bankruptcy and Short Sale - Financial Problems

Attorney Balser has handled several matters for us over the past years. We ran into financial and health problems beginning over 6 years ago. She very expertly handled our bankruptcy to help relieve the immediate debt problems and lawsuits we had. Our hearing was only minutes long. It was clear th...at it went very smoothly because of all the preparation in advance. We saw other people at the hearing whose attorneys had not provided all the documents to the trustee and they were very lengthy. I was so glad we had chosen Attorney Balser. She let us pay her monthly because we couldn't pay for her services all at once. About a year after that was complete my husband had a medical problem which left him unable to work consistently. Our mortgage fell behind. We retainer her again to try and save our house. It took a couple years because my husbands income was so uncertain and changing. She never charged us more than she originally told us even though I know she had to do double the work because my husbands income kept fluctuating.. She was pro-active in dealing with all these issues before they could become problems. She was incredibly quick at returning emails or phone calls. She gave us her cell phone and told us we could reach her anytime day or night and weekends too. She did get us a modification and made the payment affordable. We stayed in our house for 3 more years but have now decided to move to Florida. She has now handled the short sale of our home. We were able to stay in the house for six months saving our mortgage payments to help with the move. The timing of the short sale closing was itself was perfect and conducted efficiently and professionally and, best of all not a single surprise! Oh yes there was one surprise and it was a great one. Our moving incentive went from $3000 to $10,000 because of a very recent change in the law that Attorney Balser knew about. She submitted a request that our approval be modified to include the higher payment and it was granted! We can really never thank you enough. But we do say thank you and God Bless.

Blessed to find this attorney

I first hired this attorney to stop a foreclosure on our house about two years ago. I was very stressed and ashamed because I had been out of work. My wife and I were constantly fighting. But Attorney Balser made us feel very comfortable. She looked at our whole situation and made a plan that wou...ld let us keep our house and rid us of a 2nd mortgage and credit card debt. She was able to get the foreclosure postponed for over six months while i found a new job and reestablished some a small savings for emergencies. She then got a very favorable loan modification and we were able to keep our home. We then hired her again about six months ago to file bankruptcy and now we are working on rebuilding our credit. Without her we would be homeless. We were also headed for divorce but our marriage survived because of her. She made herself available to us anytime and even gave us her cell phone number so we could reach her anytime. I have never had an attorney do that.

Very pleased

Gail did a good job in explaining all of our options. She was at times hard to get in touch with, but she did everything we needed to have our bankruptcy go smoothly and without any complications! I am glad it is over and would recommend Gail for anyone who is contemplating bankruptcy.
