Gail A Balser

Hired this attorney to handle a Short Sale on my Home. She said she would take care of everything with the creditor and NOT TO WORRY. My wife and I PAID HER THE TOTAL FEE SHE REQUESTED. SHE TOOK OUR MONEY and RAN. Only to find out a year or so later that she was SUSPENDED FOR DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS by ...the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from Practicing Law for 4 Years. It is my belief from reading about her Suspension in the Newspaper that she misappropriated client money to help bail out / finance her "Better Half's" Construction Company with some of his own Financial Scams and Issues. I probably got 3% moneys worth for her services that I paid her for. My wife and I actually had to come up with MORE out of pocket $ and hire another Firm to handle our Short Sale situation. Gail Balser Promised us the World, DELIVERED NOTHING !!!! RIPPED US OFF !!!

I recently had an issue with a creditor which due to poor communication and misunderstanding evolved into a lawsuit against me. I needed advice from an attorney to solve the problem. I consulted with Gail. She recognized the issue, saw that it wasn't complicated ( just needed to be communicated pro...perly) and contacted the other parties attorney immediately and through a quick negotiation the lawsuit was stopped and the issue solved to both parties satisfaction. I was not able to communicate the issue properly. Gail was. She is down to earth and easy to talk with, understood my needs and position and then was able to relay that in the proper legal way to the other parties attorney. Attorney Balser initially worked with my family to resolve my financial situation. I had lost my job and fell behind on my mortgage and bills. She was sensitive to my embarrassment and was always their for a phone call. I often called her on weekends and she didn't seem to mind a bit. My wife was ...then later hurt in an auto accident when she was broad sided in an intersection. Attorney Balser quickly helped us with a claim against the other driver's insurance company and get a very fair recovery.

I could never thank Gail enough for all her help over the years with saving my home. My adjustable rate skyrocketed years ago and my home was in foreclosure. It took six years ( I think I was her longest modification) and was so stressful but gail never gave up and never let me down ever. Each time a... letter would come that the modification couldn't be done for one reason or another Gail would get right back on it and start again. All the times I fell off on my payments and she needed to do more work she never charged me more. She always answered my calls and my emails and even met me near my house an hour away from her office to get paperwork!! She is amazing!! The day I got word that my modification went thru I promised myself and Gail that never ever would I get in that place again. She made it possible to keep my family home and I can never thank her enough!!!

I just finished a five year Chapter 13 Plan with this Attorney. Gail let me pay her monthly because I didn't have all the money to file in the beginning. Everything went fine in my bankruptcy for about two years. Then I fell behind in my mortgage payments. I was getting very nervous and finally ga...ve her a call. I thought she was going to be mad and I felt like such a failure. But she told me not to worry and my situation was not uncommon. She said she would handle it and she did. She got me another six months to catch up on my mortgage. She didn't charge me anything additional even though she had to go to court for me extra times. I was able to keep up until the last year. I again contacted her and she put me at ease again. We met and talked about doing a loan modification because my income had permanently changed. I decided to hire her to do that too. Over the last year she was able to modify my mortgage and lower my payment by over $400 per month. It has made all the difference. I just received my bankruptcy discharge and can not thank her enough for all the extra time she spent with me. Attorney Balser has been a true blessing in my life and I highly recommend her.
