Joe and Donna both helped me out big time when I was rear-ended on the highway by a drunk driver and had a shoulder injury. My personal life got in the way big time and I dropped the ball with pursuing the case as quickly as I should have. Joe stayed in contact with occasional updates until I was in ...a better position to pursue it --- and when we did, he negotiated tirelessly and was prompt in responding to my requests for updates. He walked me through specific issues with my case and was always realistic about what he could give/get me. He didn't blow smoke or try and "level with me" or "speak my language" like a lot of Personal Injury-type ambulance chasers who want to appeal to younger folks do. He was to the point, stuck to the facts, and made me feel comfortable without overdoing it. No smoke-blowing. If I asked for numbers, he gave me numbers. If I asked for details, I got them. From day one, it was clear he wanted to help me out. Joe kept negotiating with defense even when they tried to laugh me off with a pittance. He told me what the defense thought my case was worth and what he was going to negotiate for. He updated me at every turn and, when he couldn't, Donna kept me in the loop. At the end of the day, my settlement was well within reasonable expectation--especially considering how much time had passed. I am satisfied. Worthy to note: His assistant, Donna, is wonderful! I couldn't end this review without remarking on how good of a right-hand woman she is. Whenever Joe was busy with deliberations or other cases, Donna was always right there to answer questions, tap Joe when I needed it, do due diligence related to the case, and keep the essential gears of the case moving forward. She is invaluable. I would recommend Joe to anyone looking to handle a personal injury case. He gives what he gets. If you are ready to buckle down and work with him, he will return the energy. He won't wantonly promise six-figures and talk like a big shot. Not one to mince words, either. All things I'd want in an attorney. If I still lived in the area and ever needed help on a similar case, I'd surely be right back in Joe's office.
