Risa Ellen Freeman

Attorney Freeman was professional, knowledgeable and strategic in my OUI defense which resulted in a not guilty verdict. She thoroughly acquired the facts in the case and was brilliant in making decisions throughout the process. Fearless: I realized this as I watched her "debate" law facts and interpretations against/with a seated judge. That's cool in my book. Intelligence, one would assume, would apply to all lawyers as they are, well...lawyers. Fact is I've had lawyers in the past that exuded the wit and understanding ...that left me going into court with a "might as well skip this part and head strait to the gallows" type feeling. With Risa, thus far as my lawyer, I've yet to walk into court feeling remotely like that. Instead I've always felt at ease if not confident. She knows her facts, keeps me up to date with plans and possible complications. That last part is key, as not all lawyers have been so thoughtful with this defendant, and as humans ourselves, defendants fear the unknown just as everyone else in the world does. Quick witted just shows she can think fast which is hopefully self explanatory. As for her human side, Risa and I hit it off immediately. I respect her and even appreciate it when she sometimes has to put me in my place rather briskly, which, I'm honest enough to admit, I need from time to time. After all, I am writing a criminal defense lawyer review at the moment which, at least in my opinion, shows that when left to my own choice making abilities I have in the past made some poor choices....but, keeping Risa as my lawyer through 2 and now our 3rd case together has proven time and again that I do sometimes choice wisely. With that, I hope that you, the reader, makes a good choice and knows a good thing when you see it. I highly recommend Risa be that good choice. She truly is Great.

What Risa does is nothing short of performing magic. When I was seventeen I desperately needed not a good or even a great lawyer but the BEST lawyer and after doing my research, everything pointed to Risa. To me she was courteous, friendly and diligent but as soon as the trial began she was fully awa...re of the situation, completely confident in her own abilities and she conducted herself as a true professional. I had recently hired Risa again and I was extremely happy to see that nearly a decade later, her unrelenting work ethic and her meticulous nature has not faltered at all. Let me be clear, good lawyers try to deliver, Risa delivers. I can only describe the results as miraculous. If you're curious, the first incident I was involved in was a cop chase and the second I was approximately forty miles over the speed limit (+100 mph). The first was completely dismissed and the second I had continued as a sort of driving probation. Honestly, asking to get a reduced sentence seemed highly improbably, but getting essentially a second chance, I don't know how it wasn't impossible. But that's the kind of lawyer Risa is, because bottom line, she gets results. If you want to be put in the best hands, find your way to Risa. She is worth every cent. I recommend every friend I know to her and though I hope to never run into any more trouble, if I do, I'd find Risa time and time again.
