Albert Ngo is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer at Brooks Law Firm, a Medford, Massachusetts law firm representing clients in personal injury, workers' compensation, and immigration matters. A forward-thinking legal professional with a strong entrepreneurial background, Albert combines legal expertise with business and operations experience to guide the firm's strategic direction, efficiency, and client-centered approach to legal service.
Raised in Wyoming, Michigan, Albert grew up working in his family's Chinese restaurant, where he learned early lessons in service, hard work, and resilience — values that would later shape his approach to both business and law. While still in high school, he co-founded A&E Fixit, an on-demand iPhone and Apple device repair business that grew into a recognized local venture, later joining Michigan State University's Hatch entrepreneurship program for support with research, development, and office space. At Michigan State University, Albert earned his degree in Political Science while interning at the Michigan House of Representatives and continuing to build his repair business, gaining early experience in both public service and entrepreneurship.
Albert went on to earn his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Boston College Law School in 2020, where he built a diverse legal foundation spanning public interest law, intellectual property, real estate, and tax law. During law school, he clerked at a technology startup and in the tax department at Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster, and gained additional hands-on legal experience through internships with Greater Boston Legal Services and Community Legal Aid, as well as a law clerk role with the Law Offices of Robert W. Joyce, where he worked on auto-tort litigation, real estate matters, medical malpractice, estate administration, and tax issues. Also during law school, Albert founded , a free legal resource platform created to make legal information more accessible to students and young attorneys — an early reflection of his commitment to accessible, client-focused legal services.
After earning his law license, Albert joined Brooks Law Firm as an attorney, where he built and managed the firm's Personal Injury department from the ground up, representing accident victims across Massachusetts and implementing streamlined case management processes. As Albert took on increasing leadership responsibility — first as Chief Operating Officer and later as Partner — he continued to personally supervise the Personal Injury department and practice law directly alongside his operational duties, ensuring the department maintained the same standard of client care and case results even as it grew.
As COO, Albert now oversees the operational side of Brooks Law Firm, including technology integration, systems management, strategic planning, and coordination across the firm's personal injury, workers' compensation, and immigration practice groups. His dual role as both a practicing attorney and firm operator has helped modernize Brooks Law Firm's infrastructure and improve efficiency across departments, with the goal of delivering a smoother, more responsive experience for clients navigating personal injury claims, workers' compensation cases, and immigration matters in Boston and throughout Massachusetts.
Fluent in Cantonese, Albert plays a key role in expanding Brooks Law Firm's reach within Boston's Chinese-speaking community, helping ensure that Chinese-speaking clients receive culturally competent, language-accessible legal support. He is active with the Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts and the Asian Pacific Law Students Association, and studied real estate law as part of the Boston College Real Estate Law Society during law school.
Albert is deeply committed to building a law firm that leads with purpose, embraces innovation, and delivers results for clients from all walks of life — whether they are recovering from a workplace injury, pursuing a personal injury claim, or navigating an immigration matter.
