Responsive, Strategic and More than Competent

I needed Lou to help me receive payment from a former employer for commission unpaid. No other law office would take my case because they deemed it risky without much of a payoff. However, Lou and his partner Tom were willing to at least send a demand letter. I was very impressed with their demand le...tter: it was written in such a way that it made a long, complicated situation easy to understand and completely obvious that the employer was at fault. No wonder the former employer's legal team immediately reached out to settle. However, Lou and Tom did not take the easy way. When the legal team wanted me to sign a non-disclosure and other documents, they recommended we ask the employer to pay more for those requests. In the end, they even helped with the way I was paid and how I was going to be taxed on the payout. I received more than I was expecting, and am extremely grateful for Lou and Tom's help. Throughout the whole process they were very responsive to my emails and calls and checked up on me to ensure I had received payment. I would absolutely recommend this team.

Withheld commision wages

I met Lou through a work shop held by Suffolk Law School. My ex company held wages due to bad debt which is clearly forbidden by the Massachusetts labor law. After attempts from myself to recover theses wages I enlisted Mr. Saban and his team for help with this matter. Mr. Saban knew I had a strong c...ase and we submitted a claim through small claims court. My previous employer negotiated a settlement which I eventually agreed to. What I liked working with this attorney was he had expertise in labor law and guided me to a victory in my case. Secondly, Mr. Saban was easy to contact by face-to face, phone, and emails. I would recommend this attorney for any labor related matters.

Great Experience

When I was not paid as a regular contractor, Lou heard my case at a Wage Theft seminar. After I forwarded a few emails to Lou, he was able to explain the specifics of the situation very clearing and was able to settle for more than what we were asking for. He handled all my question and most importan...tly, he was able to remain calm and personable through out the entire process. I was nervous about this whole process and potential risks this would open up, yet Lou was able to level with me and help me view the process in a different light. Thank you, Lou. I will definitely recommend Lou as a lawyer to anyone, but especially those who are on the fence about whether or not they have grounds to utilize a lawyer.

Top Notch Lawyers

I met Tom and Lou at an event to get some law advice. I am usually uncomfortable when it comes to discussing anything personal, but I felt very comfortable talking to Tom and Lou; they were very knowledgeable and eager to assist me. I had only planned to meet with the attorney’s to get information on... how to obtain a check owed to me by a former company and found that I was owed much more. Tom and Lou asked if they could represent me, at no cost to me, win or lose, which really helped me out. During the whole process, they kept me well informed and were very good at explaining things to me. If I had any questions, I would email them and receive a response within an hour, tops. They explained to me the amount they thought I could receive and how they would go about getting it for me, and after a couple offers back and forth, they got me exactly that. What they did was very impressive and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of legal help regarding compensation/wages. This team of lawyers truly had my back and I am forever grateful.
