Fantastic counsel for severance review and negotiation

I met Lou through a referral. He has been nothing but exceptional in every aspect. During consultation he prepared well prior to our first encounter. He shared his thoughts clearly and listened keenly to my concerns. Lou also helped me to understand the attorney mindset and what his job as my attorne...y would be and that of the opposing party's attorney. As a result, we were able to create a well informed strategy to work through the severance negotiations. Lou caught several issues in the documents above those which I caught which could have proven ill for me. Lou was also attentive in uncovering my concerns and comfort level for various actions while at the same time pushing me appropriately where needed (also by expanding my knowledge of the space). After all the back and forth and negotiations, we came out with a very positive result and a final agreement for which I was very comfortable. Huge kudos to Lou. He has great attention to detail, is very responsive, and is refreshingly creative. Lou receives my highest recommendation.

Run...fast

Like Ken, I can't get Tom to respond. I will, however, say Lou does respond. I'll give him that, but I was supposed to receive my monies a month ago, and have not received anything as I write this. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This all started when they, Tom and Lou, eavesdropped on a conversation I was havin...g with someone else, and they "felt" they could handle. Like a fool, I signed with them. Well, as fate would have it, Lou kept trying to change the terms of the agreement. I agreed three times, and it still wasn't enough. Here I am, more than three months later trying to get my money. I guess, at this point, the best advice I can give about Tom and Lou is to run...fast

Zero professional communication skills and returned my settlement check to my employer rather get my proper address.

Not only does this lawyer never answer his calls by a human voice and or phone, you have to leave a message. Then maybe if you are lucky you get an emailed response. Professionalism NOPE. When my case was settled him and/or his partner both got paid 1/3 of my settlement fees plus I paid the filin...g fees and my checks were returned to the DEFENDANT, my employer. So my release contract stated I would be paid within 10 business days. Today is business day 19 and I have still not been paid my settlement funds. My regular personal attorney called my employer and they returned the mail back into the postal system. Also according to the MA BAR this lawyer DOES NOT even have malpractice insurance!!! I DON'T recommend as his twitter handle states he is a full time bar tender and part time lawyer. Not impressed by professionalizm.
