We began working with Kevin Seaver over the summer regarding a false claim of negligence and emotional/physical abuse of our teenage daughter. She has been diagnosed with mental health disorders and legal blindness, which prevents her from doing what normal teenagers (almost adult) do. The false alle...gation was that we (her biological mother and father) had abused her physically as a child and were actively emotionally abusing her presently in that we prevented her from doing what she wanted to do, and admonished her for her disabilities. The medication also had significant deleterious effects to her own sleep patterns and she was unable to take care of herself. She submitted a false allegation to a mandated reporter. DCF immediately opened a case for her but determined that the threat was not urgent after evaluating her living conditions. When we found out our daughter filed false allegation against us, we sought out attorneys. We knew we had to protect our daughter and ourselves. Attorney Kevin Seaver is an attorney that you should definitely hire if you are dealing with DCF. Attorney Seaver went above and beyond in a DCF case for our family. We were all given his personal cell phone number and were told to call anytime, day, nite and weekends. He even called us back on Chr...istmas Eve and during the Super Bowl. He has a flat rate fee, which may seem very high, but to be totally honest, if you want to win he is totally worth it. Attorney Seaver was our second attorney for this DCF case. The first one cost us $15,000, she never spoke with us in a timely fashion and charged us for every minute, reading an email, sending an email, responding to an email, waiting on hold with DCF, after 4 weeks we decided we needed a real professional specializing in DCF. We read the reviews for Attorney Kevin Seaver and chose him, best decision we ever made. We had a free consultation in his office during Covid 19, every other attorney wanted to zoom and charge a consultation fee.
