Student Loans in Collections

I reached out to Adam to help negotiate a settlement for private (SM) student loans that were in collections for a younger family member. He was excellent and professional. There was a lot of anxiety around this for the loan holder and Adam's knowledge, demeanor and communications were always reassur...ing and kept us moving along in the process. I found his rates to be extremely fair and he was able to negotiate a settlement we could agree to. Having the enormous weight of those loans off has been literally life changing for my family memeber. Would highly recommend his services for anyone who needs help in this area.

Professional, Courteous and Very Effective

Attorney Minksy helped my wife and I negotiate a settlement with a student debt collector. Resolving the outstanding debt affordably and quickly seemed unlikely, but Adam worked patiently with us to identify strategies and opportunities that we never would have arrived at on our own. In the end we sa...ved several times more than we were charged for the legal services. We cannot recommend Adam highly enough!

Adam got my loans completely dismissed

I contacted Adam because I was getting sued after being unable to pay back student loans due to disability and cancer. Adam was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions before I even asked them. He worked quickly to get not only the private loans I contacted him about, but also the fe...deral loans I was not being sued for dismissed. I was not even aware that getting loans dismissed due to disability was an option. Within about 3 months, Adam was able to completely eliminate my student loan debt. He kept me informed throughout the entire process and also honored the use of my preferred name over my legal one. The only thing I had to do was sign the documents he sent and have my doctor fill out some forms. I could not be more satisfied with my experience hiring Adam for this process. It was such a relief to have someone so knowledgeable handle the entire situation and have such a positive outcome.

Super helpful for a difficult situation

I got sued by attorneys representing National Collegiate Trust. It was a tricky situation that I had never been in before—I’m a classic case of first generation college student and first generation US citizen. I had no idea what I had gotten myself into. Great Experience - Great Results!

A few years ago when my son graduated from College I was innundated with a collection of loans that I was made responsible for. Mr. Minsky sorted out all that mess and resolved the problems to our satisfaction. A few months ago my wife received a bill for a school loan that had not been paid in 1992.... Again, Mr. Minsky made sure that all legalities were met. I have no knowledge of anybody but him who could do that work and we are very thankful that he is on our side.
