Cindy will make you feel like you are her only client!

I hired Cindy to help with drafting a separation agreement for my divorce. She was referred to me from another attorney that I worked with. She was highly recommended by Attorney Chris Saccardi ( housing attorney). He was spot on with his recommendation! She is spectacular! Whatever time I emailed o...r called her, she answered my questions faster than I expected her to. She truly makes you feel like your case is the most important case she represents. Divorce is hard enough. She made this process much less stressful than I expected. Her paralegals and legal assistants are very flexible and professional. If they say they will call you back at a certain time, they do. There is no email or phone tag for days. Regardless of the circumstances, I always felt she was a call away when I needed to talk to her. As a result of working with her (and Attorney Saccardi) has lead me to pursue a career as a paralegal. I am currently in school and am expected to graduate in 2022 with my degree as a Certified Paralegal. Not only did she help with my divorce, but she made me realize this is the field I want as my career. I want to be the kind of person to others as she is to me. If anyone is looking to hire a family law attorney, without hesitation Cynthia Runge is who you want on your side. -Cindy, from the bottom of my heart, Thank you.

Supportive, communicative, and kind

I retained Cynthia Runge's services for a divorce mediation and agreement. A long story short, my ex-husband also had a divorce lawyer and the two of them dragged things out as much as they could. With my vastly lower income and limited funds, the delays put me at a disadvantage with respect to negot...iating a settlement. Cindy helped me not only to understand the nature of divorce negotiations and the possible tactics used in them, but was also very supportive throughout this protracted ordeal. She attended a long and contentious mediation session with my spouse and his lawyer--helping to protect me and work towards a fair outcome. I'm lucky to have a solid support network, but really can't say enough about the value of also having a lawyer like Cindy who communicates supportively and feels like she is on your side. Sometimes when I was nearly at my wit's end, our phone conversations helped to persuade me to go the distance. She also was mindful of my limited finances and was willing to work out a manageable schedule with me. She was careful not to sway me too much throughout the negotiations, but also knew enough to offer her opinion and guidance when she felt it was necessary. I am naturally conflict-averse and have established a pattern of capitulating to my ex's sometimes irrational demands, but Cindy helped to assuage my fears and attain an equitable settlement.

Smart, Creative, Caring and Kind

Attorney Runge was a fantastic resource and friend during a very difficult case related to custody and other post-divorce matters. I felt like the previous divorce attorneys who developed my original settlement only cared about milking hours and getting to an agreement without a trial. Cindy was read...y to do whatever was necessary including connecting me to other professionals, prepping for trial, and leading numerous negotiations. She always put my best interests at the forefront. I don't know how she does all of this without being weighed down by the cases, but she was always welcoming with a warm smile and then ready to get down to business. She has a broad depth of case knowledge and develops innovative strategies for dealing with difficult situations. I cannot recommend Cindy highly enough and would seek out her help should the need arise in the future (though I hope to never see her in that capacity again!).

Divorce Mediation

Cindy was referred to my now ex-wife and we hired her to mediate our divorce. She's very easy to work with; maintains strict professionalism at all times. I would describe her style as properly detached empathy. She's very knowledgeable and experienced and helped us work through all the diffic...ult issues peculiar to most of not all of these situations. She seems quite busy (a good sign!) but makes time even on weekends when necessary to keep things moving forward. She's very thorough and my only quibble with the process is that there may have been a little too much attention to detail which may not have been necessary in some cases and which led to more hours and more billing. However let me quickly point out that this was not an effort to "pad the bill" on Cindy's part. I just think that she wants to cover every conceivable base in an organized way which ultimately is not a bad thing. The original ballpark estimate was in the $5-6,000 range. We ended up spending double that not including over $3,000 in fees which Cindy ended up not billing us for at the end of the process. (which was a nice gesture on her part). The bottom line is she wrote a very thorough and comprehensive agreement that even the judge commented on as being well-written. We sailed through the hearing with no problem and were granted a divorce. I highly recommend Cindy. She did an excellent job for us.
