Cynthia Runge

Cindy and team did a great job of getting me through the scary, emotional and extremally stressful process of divorce. They demonstrated honesty, integrity and transparency and were reliable and professional throughout the whole process. They were compassionate and caring and I always felt that she... had my best interests at heart. They promptly responded to my questions, kept me informed throughout the process and addressed any concerns I had in a timely manner . My opinions were valued and my doubts were always reassured, I always felt like it was a collaborative partnership vs being outside looking in.The whole process of going to court was very nerve wracking and Cindy did a great job of helping to put me at ease during the trial for that I was very thankful.

Outstanding Legal Counsel

I retained Cindy Runge to review and finalize a separation agreement that was prepared by a mediator. Cindy is a thorough, competent attorney with a keen eye for detail. She provided valuable advice and provided clear, honest direction. She always had my best interests in mind and respected my opi...nions as to desired course of action. Cindy responds promptly and readily communicates via phone or email including evenings/weekends. Highly recommend!

Review of Cynthia Runge, Attorney at Law

After researching and interviewing many lawyers, I chose to hire Cynthia Runge as my divorce attorney. In my opinion, Cynthia Runge is highly a dedicated and compassionate attorney who has worked to maintain a strong client/ lawyer relationship during our divorce process. She was quite accessible --... quick to respond to messages and often picked up the phone right when I called. She listened and considered my case carefully and was willling to take me on as a client late in the game. She quickly understood my needs (and those of my children), and prioritized them to ensure that the most optimal outcome she can hope to deliver was attained. She is very astute; during negotiations with my spouse and his lawyer, she perceived quickly where openings for discussions and compromise lie. She gave me strength when I needed to move through certain difficult roadblocks. She will hear your needs, take suggestions, and make sure you understand and agree to all the final documents. I highly recommend her when hiring an attorney for your divorce process.

You really do need to bring a lot to the table

Cynthia was great in laying out the issues and explaining to us what we needed to do in our divorce mediation. But if you have any emotional issues, resistance, or subtle disagreement (and, even if you are both totally on board with mediation as a way of reading a divorce agreement), or some more com...plex issue (we had some intellectual property, for example), each member of the couple will need to hire their own attorney. Now, you should probably to it anyway, to have an experienced attorney. Your mediator can only say if this agreement seems fair enough to pass scrutiny in court. So we flailed around a bit, and the final agreement was drafted by our own attorneys. So, if you need someone to hold your feet to the fire and tell you to get a move on, Cynthia is probably not appropriate. To be fair, I can't say whether any other mediator will hustle you along either. But Cynthia will make sure you have everything clear. How quickly you move is up to you.

Cynthia Runge, Esq.

I receive SSDI and as a result, I was unable to pay for a lawyer to represent me in my divorce. So I contacted the The Boston Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP). They assigned Ms. Cynthia Runge to represent me PRO-BONO!! I could never have afforded Ms. Runge on my income... Ms. Runge was wonderful!!! ... The first day I met with her regarding my divorce, she immediately started working on my divorce. We went over to file the paperwork in court to get my divorce in motion!!! Every step of the way, Ms. Runge explained the legal matter/proceedings to me thoroughly so I was able to understand the entire process. Ms. Runge is extremely knowledgeable about the laws/regulations for divorces. Ms. Runge made sure I received everything I was entitled to in the divorce decree from alimony, half of my ex-spouse's 401k, continued health coverage from my ex-spouse's employment and maintaining me as the beneficiary of my ex-spouse's life insurance policy. Ms. Runge worked extremely hard to make sure legal documents were filed in a timely and efficient manner. I was very impressed with her dedication to represent me PRO-BONO!! She treated me like I was a rich paying customer!! She never made me feel like I should be appreciative that she agreed to represent me.. She was always respectful and professional to me. Wow!!! Ms. Runge is an incredible and knowledgeable attorney. I am forever grateful and thankful to her for everything she has done for me. I can not thank her enough. A divorce is an emotional and devastating ordeal but Ms. Runge was very understanding of my feelings/emotions throughout the entire process. She always had time to answer my calls and questions. She made me feel very comfortable to ask her any question. I always felt like a valuable client. Ms. Runge worked many hours making sure that everything went smoothly in divorce proceedings. She knows the law so well, she made sure I was protected legally in the divorce decree so that later on down the line I would not have any legal problems. She made sure the legal ease/terms were stipulated in my decree. I can not thank the Volunteer Lawyers Project of Boston enough for accepting my case and assigning me a wonderful and knowledgeable attorney!!! Ms. Runge surpassed my expectations!! I could not have been more pleased with how she handledy case from the beginning to The end!!! Thank you so much Boston VLP!! A super extra thank you goes to Ms. Runge for all of your tireless efforts and hours to represent me in court!! Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!!
