On December 21st, 4 days before Christmas, I found myself a victim. A van going over 40mph flew into my body as I stood in a crosswalk near my home. As I rolled over the van, I immediately felt my life was over. My backpack tore off my body like it was held on by string. And when I hit the cement all I could think about was the oncoming traffic which would crush me. For reasons I still don’t understand today, cars screeched to a halt seconds before hitting me.
I desperately tried to quickly get up and run away from the accident, but I couldn’t. I was bloody, in excruciating pain, and my legs motionless from spine trauma. For the first time in my life I felt fragile and broken.
The ambulance rushed me to BIDMC trauma center where I received medical treatment for a broken vertebra, spine trauma, and vascular and nerve damage in my legs.
I knew my body would require years of healing and that I would never be 100%. I had no clue where to begin or how to recover. And having moved to Boston for work, I had no family to take care of me.
By God’s grace, I found Marc Breakstone. Several days after my accident, I was referred to him. I remember distinctly my first conversation with him over the phone. I was overwhelmed with his kindness, sympathy, and most importantly wisdom. He somehow gave me optimism in my darkest time.
I was impressed that he called me while he was on vacation with his family. And even though he couldn’t meet with me in person immediately, the very next day he sent his partner David White to visit me in my home. It was evident that the two men were sensational and I knew I couldn’t be in better hands.
Over the course of two years of treatment, Marc was always there for me. He consistently checked in on me. He gave me invaluable counsel, optimism, and always his Yiddish words of wisdom (which I now use myself). I felt comfortable talking to Marc about anything. And even though I knew Marc had many cases more important than mine, I truly felt I was his only client.
Marc Breakstone and his assistant Christine Roberts are simply the best. I’m grateful to have found such a wonderful attorney who I know I will have for life. I continue to be impressed with Marc and the legal team he belongs to. Both Marc and David are active in the community and I see them on the news all the time. They not only fight for justice, but strive to reform laws which will make Bostonians safer.
If you are in need of legal advice and someone to fight for you and be on your side, look no further. You can’t find a better advocate.

When tragedy strikes you need someone like Marc by your side. When I became paralyzed I didn't know who to turn to, so I did a quick search on the internet. To my surprise, I found several website that gave glowing reviews to Marc, and I now, have become one of those reviewers. I'm happy to say that from the beginning Marc was unlike any other lawyer I had ever met, thoughtful, kind, attentive, and caring! He would email me to keep me informed of my case. It has restored my faith in the legal profession. If you need an attorney in the Boston area, don't hesitate for a minute, Marc is the best one around.

In a nutshell, Marc Breakstone is a top-notch attorney who puts back compassion in representation. I wholeheartedly recommend him. This was my first experience having to use the services of an attorney let alone use one for an injury I sustained. I never thought I would ever need to and in the back of my mind I was hoping never to deal with any attorney of any kind due to all the negative stigma. However, after my car accident which left me in severe pain I was hounded by the other insurance company to settle my case within two days of the accident and before I had a chance to see a specialist. They wanted to meet me at various fast food places to discuss and settle the case with zero regard for my situation. I was in no shape to drive due to my injury. The stress of the pain and the constant harassment by them was overwhelming. I reached out to Marc Breakstone through a friend of the family who is a patent law attorney. Marc took a major stress point and outright eliminated it. His instructions to me...."You focus on getting better and I will deal with all legal matters". It couldn't have been truer. A huge stress was lifted off my chest and Marc was amazing from immediately halting the harassing calls from the other company to guiding me through the whole process of getting better. He was on top of my case every step of the way and periodically he would check on my health progress and he would buffer me from all legal matters. I've never been injured before and his expertise in the medical field is phenomenally helpful. He was able to help guide me in identifying the proper medical types of specialist who were finally able to help me. I could not have asked for a better representative to take my case. Although healing was my #1 goal the outcome of the case was better than I had expected.
