Disputes with Landlords and Success

My landlords charged me $2000+ for so called "legal fees" while their attorney only worked for $230. Attorney Murphy helped me sent out a demand letter, communicated with their attorney on my behalf, and helped me sort things out during a mediation event, after the landlords decided to escalate the m...atter to housing court. It all went well and my landlords not only refunded the $2000+ payment, but also permitted an early termination of lease.

Honest, reliable and dedicated attorney who truly cares....

I contacted the Boston Bar Association via their lawyer referral service after having been put on the back burner and forgotten by another attorney. It had been 3 months since I paid a fee for my prior attorney to assist me and never heard back since that time. Friustrated, discouraged and fed up of ...being taking advantage of by said prior attorney, I was fortunate enough to have the BBA refer me to Attorney Murphy for consult and to discuss the merits of my case. I was pleasantly surprised when he answered my first call and he so graciously consulted with me for FREE for 23 minutes. That was more than my prior attorney gave me whom I paid $632 for just one consult. Not only did Attorney Murphy listen to me after venting over my disappointment of my prior attorney, but he consulted with me, gave me his honest opinion, and I could tell that he truly cared. What went from a feeling of hopelessness and me being at the point of giving up, turned my day around into an optimistic and satisfied feeling of relief. Most attorneys screen their calls or wait to hear what a voicemail will tell them before they give anyone the time of day… BUT NOT Attorney Murphy. He could have charged me to come in and consult for his time but he evidently saw that I had been taken advantage of and truly wanted to help me. When retaining an attorney, it’s not always due to a pleasant or easy circumstance one is doing through and if you want someone who will fight for you, be honest to you, and truly represent you in the most ethical and reliable manner, Attorney Murphy is the attorney for you! THANK YOU AGAIN ATTORNEY MURPHY!!!

He will fight for you

I had been sexually harassed and bullied by manager for a big company. I followed protocol to report the harassment but was faced with bullying from upper management and felt corned. I internalized all the stress which turned into anxiety, PTSD and much more mental issues for me to deal with. When th...e company decided not to discipline or remove the manger from my work environment but promote him I decided to look for an attorney. I called several attorneys but never got a response. I stumbled onto some positive reviews for Attorney Murphy and decided to reach out. He immediately contacted me back that same afternoon and consulted with me via phone. He saw that my situation required immediate action and offered to take on the case. The very next day the coperation i work for received a letter of representation from him. Within 2 days, the manger was removed and they reopened investigation. Attorney Murphy was swift, honest and consistent with what he said he would do. He laid out many options for me and allowed me to decide how I wanted to proceed with suing the company. He worked swiftly to get me a paid leave of absence and was then able to get the company to settle with me outside of court for a dollar amount close to what I initially proposed. It was a huge plus that the company paid my legal fees as he promised. I was very happy with the outcome. He was supportive, attentive and seemed like he currently genuinely cared about getting me justice. This process was mentally exhausting but he took a load off once he stepped in which allowed me to focus on my recovery. I would recommend him to anyone who is seeking justice from an employer who did them wrong.

thank you!!!

I cant thank you enough for getting my family justice against my landlord. I tried to pay Attorney Murphy more because he only charged me a few hundred dollars because I do not make a lot of money. He did not take the money. After nearly a year of fighting for me and my wife who has cancer and son ...attorney murphy got my landlord to pay me over one years rent in E. Boston. He also took care of a personal injury claim because the ceiling fell on top of me, getting me more money. Im an immigrant from Ecuador and I cant thank you enough for helping my family.

Very professional, knowledgeable and helpful!

I would recommend Justin to anyone with employment law needs. He cuts down to the chase in his no-nonsense approach, and gives you a clear picture of what's realistically achievable and what's not. In my case it's a wrongful termination, on which Justin clearly explained the vagueness of the law and... gave clear options for possible next steps. I can confidently say that Justin is an excellent lawyer, very knowledgeable about his field, a great professional and a very nice person, who does not rip you off! No need to go to others who would charge you hundreds of dollars for the first consultation without actually knowing what you're getting into...
