About Erin
Biography
Erin obtained her JD in 2010 from the University of Michigan Law School, and her BS in Neurobiology in 2005 from the University of California, Irvine. She began her career at the Massachusetts Public Defender Office, where she worked as a trial lawyer for over six years. As a public defender, she represented hundreds of individuals charged in District and Superior Courts in Middlesex and Suffolk counties, at trial and in post-conviction proceedings. She has acted as lead counsel in numerous hearings, trials, and on appeal, and is well-versed in Massachusetts criminal law and procedure. She has gained the respect of both her colleagues and adversaries and works for her clients' interests at every stage of litigation. Erin serves on the Criminal Justice Act panel for the District Court in the District of Massachusetts and the First Circuit.
In addition to criminal defense, Erin also represents individuals in Title IX proceedings in college discliplinary hearings, in conjunction with criminal cases or standing alone. Erin has years of experience representing plaintiffs and respondants in Boston area college Title IX proceedings.
