The first lawyer I was appointed did show any type of concern or care for my case. When Erin was appointed, she made me feel confident and she showed that she cared and will be dedicated to helping me win. She did an amazing job. She was hands on, kept me informed, explained things with detail, showe...d concern about me and my family, and got me the victory she new I deserved.

I​ always thought that people who had issues with the police must have done something to deserve it. I learned the hard way that its not true. I experienced ongoing harassment from the ​​Waltham police who seemed to take advantage of ​my ​complicated family situation​.​ ​I am an African American and ...a single paren​t who actually believed that I have rights. ​Silly me. The police used every opportunity ​to attempt to get​ me​ into trouble​ repeatedly​ all in retaliation for my filing internal affairs complaints due to their misconduct.​ I was fighting a losing battle. ​ This happened in front of my family and friends. They all just said move. ​Erin Opperman walked into my life and gave me hope. In my opinion My prior att​orne​y was afraid of the ​District Attorneys​ office.​ The charges were bogus. Not Erin. After Erin got involved no additional bogus charges were ever filed. She had to fight for several years​, not months, years​ , before the case was finally dismissed​. This include​d ​Erin ​getting ​my​ case transferred to another venue. ​The DA was super angry with her for fighting so hard for my freedom. She had to file motion after motion after motion. She recognized what I was up against and stood by me. Erin refused to let them rail road me. Anyone that is looking for a lawyer who will fight for you as if you were her own family, then she is the person that you want representing you. I was a difficult client, I always calling her crying asking why me? She listened patiently and calmed me down. I thank God that she did not withdraw from my case when things got worse. I would have been convicted of a crime that I did not commit. I thank God that I met Erin, she is lawyer that gives 100% to her client. I would hire her again if I am ever in need of a excellent lawyer who will be committed to my case.

I was accused of sexual assault after becoming involved with a prostitute. I was accused of horrible crimes. Erin was so nice and made me feel comfortable even though we had to discuss these awkward and horrible charges. She knew that this person was lying to protect herself. We prepared for trial se...veral times in her office and eventually my charges were dismissed. She is so kind and respectful and also very aggressive in court.
