I hired Attorney Waldbaum to represent me in my first OUI trial. I was pleased when he arranged to have my CT license returned when it was incorrectly confiscated by MA police. However, I had my bench trial today and was disappointed with his performance at my trial. It felt as though he barely challenged the testimony of the officer (the prosecution's witness) during the trial. The only question he really asked that may have swung the judge's ruling in my favor was the actual time of the arrest. I feel as though I was given a false sense of hope I had a great chance of acquittal even up to the actual trial itself. I would have been better served to just accept the CWOF and not use his services for the actual trial. Your experience may differ, but I feel as though I should have shopped around for other attorneys.

MY CASE WAS IN A TOWN THAT HE DID NOT FREQUENT OFTEN BUT WHEN HE WALKED IN THE COURT ROOM HE WORKED IT LIKE AN ARTIST, I DON’T THINK I HAVE EVER BEEN SO IMPRESSED BY THE WAY ANYONE IN ANY WALK OF LIFE CARRIED HIMSELF. OVER THE COURSE OF TWENTY TWO MONTHS HE HAD 95 PERCENT OF THE EVIDENCE AGAINST ME DISMISSED. ONE JUDGE RETIRED AND THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY ROLLED OVER ONCE. IN THE END THE CASE WAS DISMISSED BASED ON THE DA WITHDRAWING HIS CASE. IT WAS ALL I COULD DO TO COME UP WITH THE FLAT RATE FEE TO HIRE ATTORNEY WALDBAUM IN THE BEGINNING, TWENTY TWO MONTHS LATER WORKING AND FREE WITH MY FAMILY IT WAS THE BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT.
