I had the chance to meet and work with Alicia during my closing process that was approx. 45 days (offer to close). The most interesting thing that caught my attention instantly, both my realtor and the sellers realtor recommended Alicia for managing the closing for my purchase due to their experienc...e using her for their clients. Getting recommended to the same person twice, at different times says a lot! My experience was fantastic, she dealt with the key items and kept me in the loop for any/all things I needed to answer/pay attention to. Her attention to detail, communication (very easy to follow), and guidance supported our close with a high degree of confidence. Most closings you hear all of the bad stories; Alicia was incredibly efficient and I would use her for my next closing. I had ZERO surprises during closing and an amazing client experience which speaks to Alicia's practice. Highly Recommended!!!

For many years I have been working with Alicia Champagne and Kim Marchand and the fabulous team of Attorney’s they have put together. As a Real Estate Professional I am very careful who I refer my clients to. It is important to me that the whole team involved in a Real Estate Transaction communic...ate regularly. This is the way that Alicia performs her service. She and her staff communicate with all parties to the transactions through out the process of buying or selling a home. Always protecting her clients interest. She sends a full page of instructions to her clients at Purchase and Sales, so they know what is coming up and to prepare accordingly. I highly recommend this great Team of Attorney’s to my clients regularly and I can always count on Champagne and Marchand.

She is petty and spiteful and unprofessional. Right before closing she told me I needed something that I didn't know about. She got upset with me because I didn't know. I told her I buy a house once every 20 years, you do closings everyday. Then if you can believe it, she wrote ME a nasty letter.... How unprofessional and petty. Then she didn't have the nerve to meet me face to face at the closing, so she sent one of her minions. I closed on the 29th of the month, she did not record until the 5th of the next month. So I had to wait 5 days to get the keys for my house. That was very spiteful and petty. Very unprofessional. Since then I have met some very close friends in Real Estate and they said it is unheard of to wait 5 days for the loan to be recorded.

I just finished purchasing my first home and used Alicia as my real estate attorney. Her office did a wonderful job tracking down everything they needed. They only contacted me when necessary which helped with my stress level during the entire process. Given the complexity of the sale she arranged... everything neatly and efficiently so that we closed on the home in a timely manner. Despite a difficult seller, her office was professional, and was always at bat for us. At the close, the seller said, "You have a VERY good lawyer, she was tough!" That is exactly the kind of person you want on your side.
