Patrick M. Winn is a Massachusetts criminal defense attorney and former Assistant District Attorney. At Winn Law, P.C., he represents people facing OUI and DUI charges, assault and battery, domestic violence allegations, drug and theft charges, sex offenses, and other misdemeanor and felony cases. He also helps clients facing clerk magistrate hearings and restraining order proceedings.
Patrick practices in courts throughout Greater Boston and Middlesex County, including Woburn and Boston. He has defended clients in Massachusetts District and Superior Courts and in federal court. His work includes challenging the evidence, litigating constitutional issues, negotiating resolutions, and trying cases. Patrick earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, a master’s degree in English Literature from Boston College, and a B.A. from Brandeis University.

Great advocate
Patrick was great to work with. He is professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and explains everything very clearly. I’m glad we hired him to advocate for my daughter. He made sure a silly mistake didn’t impact her future.
"I am a former colleague of Patrick’s. Patrick is an excellent criminal defense attorney, His clients get the benefit of his years of experience and perspective from both the prosecution and defense side. He has obtained excellent results for his clients, and does so in a cost-effective manner."
"Attorney Winn is a compassionate and dedicated lawyer who cares deeply about his clients. He is a highly effective courtroom litigator who always maintains an approachable but professional demeanor while zealously advocating for his clients. I am happy to endorse and recommend him."
"I worked with Pat at his previous job, where we focused on real estate and construction matters. I found him to be highly knowledgeable on case theory and strategy when we discussed matters. Now that he is working on criminal cases again, I have no doubt that clients will benefit from Pat's expertise."
