I started with multiple felonies and never stepped into a courtroom and everything was dismissed and records were sealed. I had the misfortune of my son flipping out in a public setting in a privileged area and the fact I looked angry and picked up my son and hastily left was upsetting to several wo...men who were in attendance. The police arrested me on the word of one of the women who was a complete lunatic and did not interview the others at the time because they had other obligations and would give statements at a more convenient time which ended up contradicting the statement from the one woman they initially interviewed. Keep in mind that I am a very large and fit male and apparently that is scary. As expected this scenario took on a life of its own which included the police and fire departments showing up at my door and the obligatory call to DCF and calls to my son's school and doctor and apparently anyone I have ever met. The most unfortunate part of this is when my son was interviewed and examined he stated to the police and paramedics who were present nothing happened and he was fine and "daddy yelled at me" and the police decided to make up a fake statement for my son reflecting the first "witness" who was completely wrong to justify the false arrest. This was my first encounter with law enforcement in my life so I really do not understand the exceptional effort the police used to make this arrest happen. They really did not like it when I argued my case. Fortunately I immediately brought my son to his pediatrician for a full exam and interview and Mark got affidavits from the pediatrician, paramedics and DCF stating nothing happened except for a child having a meltdown which Mark successfully explained in a backroom conversation with the District Attorney and the Judge who concluded that this arrest was complete nonsense. Subsequently, Mark had the record sealed at a separate hearing. Not only do I consider Mark a wonderful attorney who listens and thinks logically but a friend who I would recommend to anyone for any legal situation large or small.

I hired Mark from a selected few that were highly recommended. My process, I call each lawyer individually and spoke with each to feel their mannerisms and patterns of speech. Mark stuck out with his demeanor and professionalism. He listens and speaks accordingly like a therapist would so to better r...epresent you in court.
