A Class Act

I recently needed legal representation to address child support and college expenses allocation. I was referred to Mark by a friend and was immediately impressed by his concern and compassion, as I explained my situation to him. He listened attentively and guided me through the process, and went the... extra mile to reassure me that we were in a good position. He displayed excellent analytical skills and was able to quickly make sense of a complicated scenario. He also displayed excellent interpersonal skills and we quickly developed a trusting relationship and a mutually respectful rapport. He continued to placate me during times of frustration, which I really appreciated, as often times these types of cases are emotionally charged. He is a excellent strategist, thinks logically and makes reasonable judgments and assumptions based on the information presented. He also has excellent public speaking skills and was comfortable addressing the courtroom. His perseverance was only exceeded by his generosity, as he appeared to be genuinely concerned about my finances and keeping his fees to a minimum. I would have no hesitation in recommending him, and I actually have done a few days after our day in court.

Mark Griffith - An Experienced, Knowledgeable, and Compassionate defense Attorney.

I was referred to Mark through my company’s legal HR network. I was seeking an attorney to defend me in Chelsea District Court on a restraining order case that, quite unexpectedly, was going to trial. I retained Mark with less than a week before my trial date and he was quick to address all my conce...rns. I immediately appreciated Mark’s swift response and his willingness to consider every last detail even on such short notice. Aside from a robust legal approach, I appreciated the way he listened to my personal story and mindset in relation to the case and how I ideally wanted things to play out. I was nothing but truthful with him and he was nothing but straightforward in return and in this way we were able to communicate very effectively. The trial itself was an excellent display of Mark’s ability to execute on a well-developed legal strategy. I have very little experience in a trial setting so I found Mark’s pre-trial briefings to be both calming and reassuring. The trial itself spanned an entire day and at no time did I feel as if things were not in control or being effectively managed by Mark. Mark’s trial proficiencies were immediately apparent with his ability to cross examine the plaintiff thoroughly with well-paced and well-planned questions. Mark also exhibited his expertise through his firm yet gentlemanly interactions with the opposing party’s counsel and while addressing the presiding Judge. Mark saved his best for last with a closing remark that was so passionate and well-articulated that it quite honestly took me by surprise. The result was ruling in my favor with a complete nullification of the restraining order. Mark’s personal touch, continuous support and ability to execute in a trial setting make him an excellent choice for a defense attorney. Believe me, if there’s anyone you want making your closing argument in a trial, it’s Mark Griffith.

Excellent adviser, divorce attorney and criminal attorney

Attorney Mark Griffith has been referred to me by a friend who went through a very contested divorce. I have been able to observe Mark's ability to turn a case around. Mark supported my friend through multiple GAL investigations and managed to obtain physical custody in a situation that initially loo...ked dire. I was so impressed by Marks' negotiation skills and court experienced that I referred him later to another friend who needed criminal and divorce representation. And once more Mark has been the attorney with the upper hand. Not only were the criminal charges dismissed, Mark continued to prove his excellent negotiation and strategically aligned skills with turning the custody situation and assuring the very best for a young boy and his mother. Mark has always been responsive and available to my concerns and needs, though I never retained him as an attorney. He has provided me with advise and counsel multiple times and his insight has been valuable, transparent and always uniquely insightful. I recommend Mark to any person who is seeking more than only legal representation - Mark brings to the table empathy, emotional intelligence and true kindness. He fights with you as if he would fight for his own life and that approach sets him apart from many other attorneys who consider their clients as nothing else but business. I highly recommend Attorney Mark Griffith.

My Daughter and Granddaughter were Well Protected and I was at Peace

I was looking for an attorney that would put my anxious thoughts at ease. Attorney Griffith inspired this kind of confidence because of his knowledge, experience, wisdom and courtroom skills. Moreover, he treated everyone with respect--from security guards to court personnel to fellow attorneys. I...n this he represented us well. Not once did we regret our decision to retain Attorney Griffith--a true gentleman, skilled and savvy!

The best damn lawyer this side of Matlock

Mark was referred to me by a friend who had gone through a divorce a couple of years earlier. He's personable and always stresses that we work as a team. He's a kind, caring person, and a family man. To this day, he remains very responsive to all of my questions and requests, even though my divorce w...as final some months ago. His rates are reasonable, as are his payment policies. What impresses me most about Griff is that his decade-and-a-half legal practice is a combination of family law and criminal defense. (This came in handy since, as a man, I often felt like I was the one on trial in this divorce.) Mark is experienced in the workings of the court and is knowledgeable about the law, which means he's savvy when it comes to strategy. In my case, he successfully outmaneuvered my ex-wife's quarter-million-dollar legal team. In the courtroom, he ran circles around the opposition; in fact, we never lost a single motion that her lawyers made against us, including a restraining order (overturned) and several contempt charges (withdrawn). He's an outstanding litigator: smart, concise and well-spoken, but never abrasive. Charming, even. In the end, thanks to Griff's wisdom, cleverness and guidance, I came out of the divorce with joint legal and physical custody of my two kids; most of my stuff; and my dignity and finances intact. I will be eternally grateful to Mark Griffith for his work on my behalf, and I give him my highest recommendation.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I had dozens of cases, numerous motions and at least one trial against Mark Griffith and I can highly recommend him for anyone needing defense from a criminal charge in Middlesex County. He is easy to get along with, well respected by judges and prosecutors and has the ability to convince a jury that they have a reasonable doubt even after his client all but admits to the crime on the witness stand (true story). Some might think jurors are swayed by his southern accent, but it is actually preparation, dedication and experience at trial that make him so effective."
