I just had my case dismissed because I choosed the right person for the job.I thought I had lost it all.I got myself in a nasty situation that I could have lost my license in the medical field and serve jail time but because I had the most inform and competent lawyer-John Stanko,my case was dismissed and he worked had for me to get my license back.Now I am back on my feet.He was always there to listen to me.I will recommend him to anybody who want a positive outcome.He is the best.

John Stanko has represented by son over the past 4 years in at least 5 separate incidents, or events requiring his return to court or incarceration. In all of these cases, he was able to minimize the impact to my son in terms of the charges being considered and removed from the table, and more importantly was able to effectively reduce the amount of time for incarceration. He maintains excellent records and stays on top of current law.

I meet John Stanko, Esq. over 2 years ago. I had been taken advantage of by a relative and not being aware of my rights, I made a gross mistake that nearly cost me over $150k (I lost my job and was unemployed for over 2 years). I had never been in trouble before, but God lead me to Mr. John Stanko. I found him in the yellow pages. I called him, and he took my case over the phone. When we met face to face, Mr. Stanko listened to the concerns and asked me what do I want to do. John reviewed my case and devised a plan to help me in my time of trouble. He was able to do everything that I asked. Whenever I called him, if I missed him by phone, John immediately called me back. Whenever I emailed him, he responded. I am totally satsified with his services. I like him as a legal rep and as a friend.

I was charged with an absurd, misdemeanor, animal abuse accusation. John was able to present to the DA a very different perspective of what actually happened and negotiated a settlement that was agreeable to all the parties involved. My first impression was spot-on: he picked up the phone immediately, carefully listened to me recount my arrest, educated me on my options, was honest about the probability of success of my DUI case in Marin County, and offered me a fair price for his services. Ultimately, he was able to reduce the 30-day DMV license suspension to 2 weeks, which was a big help to me both personally and professionally.

I was recently charged with a DUI, which I thought was undeserved and unjust due to numerous reasons. I had never been arrested or knew anything about the law, so I was pretty scared about my consequences. The minute after talking with John, I felt so reassured and confident that I had a chance at winning my case. He explained every detail, option, obstacle and hinderence I could have faced. When we met he explained everything I needed to know and expect from the court. The guy didn't miss a beat! With in the 2 months of my case, we were in very close contact. He updated me with all new information regarding my case. In the end, my charge was reduced and my DMV charge was completely dropped. I really didn't have to do anything thanks to John. What John did for me will always be appreciated. I am so pleased and proud to have him as my lawyer.

I was charged with a felony possession of a controlled substance. We filed a motion to suppress evidence even though the officer advised that I consented to the search. John proved that the detainment was illegal because the officer didn't have a clear view of what was exchanged and was acting on a "hunch". Because the detainment was illegal the search was illegal and the evidence against me could not be used in court.
