As the Director of a senior living community in Tampa I have the opportunity to review with residents and their families all of their plans for the future. These include estate planning, veteran’s assistance, Medicaid preparation etc…
I consistently hear compliments from all of the customers of Jack Rosenkranz, customers praise his thoroughness, expertise and the value they receive for their money. I often recommend him to my customers knowing that that they will taken care of correctly the first time.

I highly recommend Mr. Rosenkranz. Both he and his staff were there every step of the way in my mother's elder care planning. There are so many health care and financial worries with elderly parents, but with Mr. Rosenkranz helping I was able to sleep at night knowing that his office would be there to resolve any issues that may arise. I can honestly say that without their help, my mother would not be living comfortably and happy now in a lovely assisted living facility.
Mr. Rosenkranz and his staff are very responsive to questions and did not make me feel like I was bothering them whenever we needed their help. He was very thorough in explaining the entire planning process and made sure we understood each step. They filed paperwork for us, dealt with insurance carriers & nursing home billing offices so we didn't have to worry about being hassled for payments.
I definitely would recommend Mr. Rosekranz to anyone seeking elder care planning.

My mother-in-law was bed-ridden and needed long term care that our family could not provide. A friend recommended Jack and we are very glad that we contacted him. Our first meeting was at the end of June. He was able to explain our options and then after having a follow-up education session we worked with him and his staff over the following 6 -8 weeks and we were able to qualify my mother-in-law for Medicaid benefits retroactive to the beginning of July. There was a lot of work to do in a short period of time. It was very stressful for my wife and in-laws, but Jack's staff, especially Rachel, Brenda and Brook were very patient with us and talked us through each step. During this period Jack also prepared new wills, living wills, health care surrogate, and power of attorney forms for both my mother and father in law. He and his staff responded promptly to our questions during and after the qualification process.

Mr. Rosenkranz was very helpful in assisting with questions associated with the Medicaid Diversion program and the VA,, and providing creative ideas on how we may enrich the lives of our elderly population while they are residing in long term care. Thank you so much for your kind assistance.

Helped my husband receive medicaid. It was a difficult and very involved case and Mr Rosenkranz did everything in his power to see medicaid was awarded. He was successful.

Mr. Rosenkranz was recommended to my family during some very complex issues concerning my elderly parent. For that I will always be grateful!
For quite some time, our family had been struggling with a situation involving my elderly parent and his companion. We tried to manage these issues on our own, and it only resulted in anger, frustration, and certainly a failure to know exactly how best to deal with everything. This involved estate planning, future health care, managing issues with a non-marital partner and her family, eligibility for assistance with medical care, among many other issues surrounding elder law and elder care. We were also dealing with two unrelated families (ours and Dad's companion's), in two different states. Without Mr. Rosenkranz' expert knowledge and actions, we would have ended up in a terribly disastrous and contentious situation. His attention to detail has continued to serve us well over the past few years. All that he did prepared us for the events and situations that develop from year to year.
Mr. Rosenkranz is not only extremely competent and knowledgeable, he is also compassionate, caring, and an excellent listener. He expertly listened to all of our input and concerns, and then methodically evaluated the situation. I would never have thought of some of the actions that he recommended, and now, years later, they were the absolute best things for us.
My family and I have found peace and comfort since engaging Mr. Rosenkranz. We have had him on retainer for a number of years, and he has always been ready to answer our questions. We can highly, highly recommend to anyone who is dealing with elder care or elder legal issues - please talk to Jack Rosenkranz! Don't struggle trying to manage all of this alone. Let the trained, educated, experienced expert get you through it. If you are anywhere in Florida, make the effort to seek out Mr. Rosenkranz. He also has a wonderful staff who are responsive and helpful.

I live in Massachusetts and my parents lived in Florida. Rosenkranz Law was recommended to me by a prominent Boston Elder Law attorney. After my father passed away my mother would not move north and I needed to ensure her care in Tampa. In addition to arranging care from this distance I needed to find all my options for support, health care and eventually Medicaid.
I can't even begin to express my satisfaction and gratitude to Jack and his team. They informed me about support opportunities I was not even aware existed. They not only advised me how to set up my mother's records, but they walked me through the application process so I could apply for aid that was due to my mother. Whenever I had a question, they were always there with an answer and if necessary, recommendations.
When it came time for a nursing home Jack and his team were there. They helped me prepare the financials and they navigated through the labyrinth of social services on my mother's behalf. When there was a problem, Jack literally made a federal case out of it, and prevailed.
Jack's team is not only professional, but also compassionate. When it came time to do paperwork that required my mother's signature Jack went to the nursing home to meet my mother. She always remembered what a nice, friendly man the lawyer was that came to see her.
My mother bounced back and forth from assisted living to nursing home and this caused some interesting insurance issues. Jack's team was always on top of it. After my mother passed away there were some billing disputes, and that is not a time when you can concentrate or deal with those types of issues. It was such a comfort to have Jack settle those problems to my satisfaction.
Basically, they knew who to talk to - when I didn't. They knew what they were supposed to say, what forms needed to be filed and how; and as importantly, what NOT to do. I did not. I live in Massachusetts and together we got it done. I don't know what I would have gone through without them. I found a jewel.

I met with Jack Rosenkranz a week ago Friday. My 90 year old mother had a terrible fall and is looking at spending a significant amount of time in a rehab facility. I had to intervene to help with her affairs. I didn't know where to begin but I knew that I needed expert advice and I truly believe I found that with The Rosenkranz Law Firm. In speaking with Mr. Rosenkranz I realized there were so many things that I had not taken into consideration. I found his knowledge to be exceptional. In speaking to me I felt almost as though he might have been talking to a member of his own family. He was kind, caring and patient and I found his recommendations to be very practical and helpful. I was so confused prior to speaking with him but he structured out very specific plans to set me in the right direction. I felt a true sense of relief after our meeting and I'm certain that I chose the right attorney in seeking out Jack Rosenkranz. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending The Rosenkranz Law Firm should anyone I know ever need a compassionate and reliable attorney.

I was referred to Jack Rosenkranz to get help for my 95 year old father. Jack spent an hour on the phone with me and my brother and gave us a wealth of information that will help us provide better care for our Dad. I must say that he was very responsive and respectful of my time (even having his assistant inform me ahead of time that he would be 5 minutes late for a scheduled call). I only regret that he felt the need to refer me to attorneys in my area (New York) rather than handle things in the Tampa area. Certainly had our best interests in mind. Thank you, Jack.

I fully endorse Jack Rosenkranz. Jack is an excellent lawyer evident by his professionalism, knowledge, and experience in the field of Elder Law. His followup and responsiveness was beyond our expectations and he clearly did everything possible to achieve the best possible outcome with regard to my Mother's estate planning. We would not engage anyone other than the Rosekranz firm

Not too long after my father being diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, we visited Mr. Rosenkranz to get my father's will and estate needs in order. Given that my father was a veteran, Mr. R. was able to counsel us on additional funds that were available from the government to help pay for his care (funds we didn't know were available). When my father was eventually hospitalized, Mr. R. and his staff answered questions that the hospital (and subsequently the skilled nursing home) were either unable or unwilling to answer, thus saving us grief and money. When my father ultimately went to live in a Memory Care Assisted Living Center, Mr. R helped to make sure the insurance company paid our claim against the long term care policy. When my father was getting closer to passing, he advised us to seek assistance from hospice earlier than I or the Assisted Living Center had thought of, thus getting my father additonal personal care he required and saving us additional money on drugs my father was taking of which hospice picked up the cost. Lastly, after my father passed, Mr. R. was there to answer even more questions regarding how to handle my father's affairs and estate issues. I highly recommmend the Rosenkranz Law Firm as they made a difficult time for our family much much easier - anyone of retirement age (or who has parents of retirement age) should call Mr. R!

My husband and I would like to thank Mr. Jack Rosenkranz of Tampa, FL for the superb work he did in getting the State of Florida to pay the Medicaid owed my mother for six months of nursing home care in 2010.
The state had denied my mother's application for 2010 on the grounds that we had not established and funded a QIT (Qualified Income Trust) by the deadline of December 31, 2010. My mother passed away in early January 2011. The QIT was set up but we had just missed the deadline for funding it. We had short notice and were doing business from out of state. The attorney who wrote the QIT for us referred us to Mr. Rosenkranz, whom she knew to have done successful work with fair hearings for Medicaid denials involving QITs and (specifically) VA payments of Aid and Assistance. According to the State of Florida, my mother's VA Aid and Assistance put her income above the poverty line, which required that she have a QIT.
Mr. Rosenkranz pointed out to us what he had discovered in his research for other clients: that my mother was not required to have a QIT because Veteran's Aid and Assistance was not to be counted as qualified income. The State of Florida was in error. He showed us a successful judgment he had recently won for another client based on
resolving the same error.
We gave Mr. Rosenkranz our case. We received judgement in our favor this month. In our opinion, Mr. Rosenkranz is brilliant, unflagging in his research, and extremely adept in leveraging his knowledge. He is also very good at explaining arcane legal situations to clients.

My recently deceased wife, Eileen, was a stroke victim and lived in a nursing home for several years. In March of 2010 I decided that as a back up to other arrangements I had made to protect her should something happen to me that I would investigate the possibility of having her qualify for Medicaid. I first consulted with Peter Kirkwood of Barnett, Bolt et al, my estate planning attorney and he referred me to Jack Rosenkranz who specializes in elder law.
From the start I was impressed with Jack and his staff. Complications were smoothed out and after considering my circumstances, a plan of action was produced with step by step procedures to structure my estate in a manner that would comply with the medicare rules. In due course an application was prepared and submitted to the local Medicaid office. After further back and forth consultations between th Rosenkranz law office staff and Medicaid agents, my wife was finally accepted as a medicaid patient.
All this may seem routine and, in fact, the Rosenkranz law firm made it so, however, from my perspective, the whole process was full of pitfalls that required a high level of specialized knowledge to avoid. I was impressed and would recommend the Rosenkranz law firm to anyone seeking similar consultation and services.

We were at odds what to do when my wifes mother had fallen and hurt herself at the age of 89, after the hospital and rehab for her recovery, we were told that she would not be able to return home due to her health issues. We did not know where to turn to for help, but a friend of ours told us about Mr. Jack M. Rosenkranz and his Disability & Elder Care Law Firm. We contacted Mr. Rosenkranz and made a appointment. With Mr. Rosenkranz's help along with his staff not only save us thousands of dollars but with there step by step planning procedure help us get my wife's mother in a great rest home with great medical care also. My wife and I can't thank Mr. Rosenkranz and his staff enough for all the help and guidance they provided us thru these uncertain decisions that had to be made regarding my wife's mother.

Fabulous, personally responsive attorney. Every 'I' dotted and every 'T' crossed. Would recommend to anyone. Not only did he handle complicated estate planning, he helped straighten out finances to afford my mom the opportunity to go into a rehab center/nursing home. Very thorough.

I met with Mr. Rosenkrantz last January because of issues involving my marriage. This was a second marrage that lasted 28 years--he has been very knowledgeable and patient with me explaining things over and over if I did not understand. My husband, being quite a bit older than myself became quite ill and eventually he died this past December. I trusted Mr. Rosenkranz with my personal life as well as all my finances ---he made me feel comfortable and caring about my issues--not to mention his office staff who are just as personable and
caring. i can't thank Mr. Rosenkranz enough for what he as done for me.

When my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer several months ago she was unemployed and did not have health insurance. Her condition was advancing quickly and I needed an elder law attorney to help protect my mother’s assets and help me complete the Medicaid application process. I live several states away from my mother and the situation was extremely difficult and chaotic. Mr. Rosenkranz was the only attorney (out of twelve that I had called) that would meet with me right away. He came to the hospital twice so that my mother could sign the appropriate documents. He showed great professionalism and compassion. His office was very responsive during this process. Unfortunately my mother passed away after her difficult three month struggle. But because of Mr. Rosenkranz my mother’s assets were protected. My mother was approved for Medicaid soon after she passed away. He also referred me to a financial advisor that was able to help me get my mother’s assets into the proper condition in order for her to qualify for Medicaid. From the first consultation on he listened to me and was able to advise me during this time when I wasn’t able to always think straight due to the emotional strain I was under. I will always be thankful to Mr. Rosenkranz and his staff for all that they did for me and my family.

Thank God for finding Jack Rosenkranz and his team! We can plan for retirement but we can't control what happens if we become seriously ill and live. My husband had a stroke in January and it is hard enough to deal with the decisions that have to be made when a loved one has to be placed in long term care. When you add the paperwork, choosing the right facility, applying for government benefits, etc, the task is unimaginable! Jack and his team not only took care of the process but did so with knowledge and compassion. They held my hand when I needed it and always answered my questions no matter how many times I asked or didn't junderstand. Jack made recommendations to protect our hard earned assets while keeping the well being of my husband in mind. Brooke made the phone calls to check on bed availability in good facilities and drove out to see them. Rachel prepared all the documents required to apply for all the benefits he is entitled to. We didn't even know where to begin. Colleen was there and patiently explained the legal documents being processed. My family and I will be forever grateful to Jack, Colleen, Brooke, Rachel and Wendy (who handled my phone calls with a smike in her voice). They navigated us through this traumatic experience with as little pain as possible. I have worked both for and with attorneys in the past and I interviewed other attorneys before choosing Jack Rosenkranz. I can honestly say Jack and his team rate a 10 in my book!

This firm is excellent, a whole team including paralegal, attorney and patient advocate. They have been very effective in helping us deal with nursing homes and assisted living facilities for my mother, and are still being helpful to us now, over a year later. They know how the medicare system works, and got us to the head of the line for the diversion program, just as promised. I am completely satisfied and feel we got excellent value for our money.

Being told I should seek the advice of an Elder Care attorney, and not knowing who to pursue, Jack Rosenkranz's name came up with several acquaintances from different walks of life. Mr. Rosenkranz has proven to be not only well-versed in Elder Law, but is efficient and timely in his procedures, accurate to the "nth" degree, and becomes totally committed to your family's individual needs.
He clearly spells out what his procedure will be, what it will entail, and expedites the planning in a very short time.
I would recommend Mr. Rosenkranz to anyone who has the priviledge of taking care of their parents, but needs help in doing so. His team of experts are also efficient, professional, and yet, compassionate.

Jack Rosenkranz helped my mother and father immensely. He is incredibly knowledgeable about eldercare issues and is a necessity for planning for people over 60 years old. My parents would not be in the great position they are in if it weren't for him.
