I have known Mr. Ivey for a long time, he always made sure I understood the answer to my questions, and never left me dangling in the wind of confusion...Floyd is professional at walking into the room to greet you and professional when he has finished speaking, I would consider the Tri Cities region a better place to call home for the simple fact that Mr. Ivey calls it home as well.

Floyd didn't do anything that was agreed upon at the original meeting. I had to even go and help him because he is totally incompetent. The patent application he did for me was wrong- he didn't even patent what I asked him for! I hired Floyd 7 years ago and he charged me over $20,000 for messing up the patent that I just got in May 2011. He never sent me a hard copy of anything despite multiple requests over the years. I do NOT recommend this man for anything.

I saw Mr. Ivey for a copyright infringement case. Mr.Ivey did not perform the tasks I asked and did perform extra tasks that did not apply to my case and then charged me for this unwanted research. At one point Mr. Ivey attempted to charge $285.00 for a 11 minute phone call, I cannot recommend Mr. Ivey.

Floyd Ivey does not return phone calls, and he will not return my multiple e-mail requests. I was billed for several thousands of dollars for intellectual property protection, only to find that Floyd Ivey could not satisfy the USPTO's requirements. Floyd Ivey billed me for work that was not performed to USPTO standards, and there were significant delays for getting documents submitted timely to the USPTO. I can't recommend Floyd Ivey for intellectual property legal services, and I would not use him again.
