Dan has helped me through one of the scariest processes of my life. He gave me recommendations to be proactive in my treatment, which impressed the judge and I believe made a difference in my sentencing. I can truly tell he cares about his clients and would recommend him to anyone.

I got a ticket last Fall in Tacoma. I was getting ready to get married and I really didn't want to deal with fighting it, but I also didn't want it to go on my record. I hired Dan to handle it and he took care of everything. I didn't have to go to court, and the day before my wedding he got my ticket dismissed! It was one less thing I had to worry about before my big day. I'm very grateful - thanks Dan!

I have been using Dan for close to three years. He has helped me in a number of cases throughout the past three years. He has always been willing to help and very fair with my money. I was referred to him by a friend who also used him. I had done quit a bit of calling around and comparing fees before I found Dan and his were very fair in any type of case and he is the person I recommend all of my personal friends to hire. Dan has always been very knowledgable and helped explain the way things work and what is going to happen and he has been able to resolve any case that i have brought to him very easily. When ever I walk into court I feel confident when I have Dan with me, he knows his stuff and has been very helpful to me as well as several of my friends. He has gotten me much better outcomes than I have expected every time.

I was driving south on 405 thru Bellevue and took the NE 8th exit West to 112th Ave NE thinking I would turn left on 112th and blow past the daily 405 southbound backup. Much to my shagrin I was informed by local Bellevue law enforcement that it was illegal to turn left on 112th Ave NE from NE 8th dropping a cool 124 dollar fine in my lap. As a commercial driver this was not the ticket I needed and even tho I had no chance of having this scar removed from my record I still had to fight it. Never plead guilty… ever! I was working 70 to 80 hours a week so I had no time for the daunting task of procuring legal representation to take my fight to the court house so I called a good friend of mine and asked him if he could find someone for me. That is when he hooked me up with Dan. Now the Bellevue courts drug their feet for over 5 months in issuing me a court date thus failing to meet their 180 day time limit so that is when Dan swooped in like Seal Team 6 and took them to the matt! Unfortunately before I got in contact with Dan, as I had drug my feet, I too had missed a deadline of my own in requesting a speedy trial upon finally receiving my court date so in a nut shell Bellevue had a technicality to counter my technicality and yet… Dan still won the case! To tell you how good he is he even texted me with questions while in court fighting the mighty beast now that is service!

I was dealing with two DUI charges. The first I had plead guilty to shortly after my arrest for the second one. It was a traumatic and devastating time as I had no idea what to do.
I hired Dan to help me with the second DUI. Dan immediately made me feel at ease with his knowledge and professionalism. Dan was able to successfully argue that the officer lacked probable cause to arrest me in the second DUI. That charge was dismissed completely!
Dan made me feel that I was not alone, gave me confidence and understanding. I’m forever grateful for Dan and I will recommend anyone to Dan who might be dealing with this stressful situation.

Last June (2012) I was in a car accident and was charged with DUI. I was afraid and not sure what would happen to me. I called Dan Gerl for a consultation, we met and he helped to clear up a lot a questions that I had. Dan started working on my case right away.
Dan is on top of things. Despite a high BAC (.19), Dan was able to get the prosecutor to reduce to Reckless, with no jail time, and I was able to do community service instead of fines. I would recommend Dan to anyone during these stressful times, regardless of their situation. I truly believe my life would be upside down right now if I hadn’t met Dan. Thanks Dan!

My name is "C," I live in Seattle. In Oct. 2012 I got arrested for DUI. A friend introduced me to attorney Dan Gerl. Dan was very different from other lawyers; I admired him, he treated me more like a person than just a client. I ended up with a favorable outcome with fewer conditions than I could have ended up with. If someone I know has a similar thing happen I will refer them to this attorney.

Dan's adroit mastery of the laws greatly reduced what penalties I might have faced. Don't get a public pretender. Get an expert.

In November, I got a DUI for the first time. I didn't know what to do or expect. Dan Gerl helped me get on the right track, and found several problems in the officer's report, and also with how the officer handled the breath test in my case. Based on the problems he found, he got my DUI charge dropped to Negligent Driving 1 right away, so I avoided having to report to probation.I'm very satisfied with my case result. The thing I was most worried about was my license being suspended. I didn't want to have to get an Ignition Interlock on my car, partly because I didn't want anyone (including my mother) to know about this. But because he was able to point out the problems in the way the officer did the breath test, Dan got my DOL suspension dismissed! Dan is a great attorney. he was trustworthy in handling my case and I was able to stay strong throughout. Thank you Dan for getting everything done clearly!

I was arrested for DUI in July 2012. It was the biggest mistake of my life... a frightening experience to say the least. I retained Dan Gerl and he made me feel at ease right from the start. He assisted me with a monthly payment plan that fit my budget and explained everything to me in way so I could understand all that was going on with my case. When I had questions he had answers. He told me the first day that his goal was to get my DUI charge reduced, if not dismissed. I will admit I was a bit skeptical considering my high BAC (.208) but true to his word he did exactly that. My charge was reduced to Reckless Driving and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I can't say enough about Dan Gerl... without his help I don't know what would have happened. Thanks to him I have put this experience behind me and have my life back.

Dan is a very professional and knowledgeable attorney, he provided me with a very solid defense. Dan was able to have my charge reduced and saved me a lot of time and anguish. When I saw others in court who were sent by their attorney who never showed, I knew I made the right choice as Dan was there to help me through the process. He kept in touch with me, set realistic expectations and ensured he followed through on all of my requests.
In closing I will say it is difficult to find a trustworthy advocate, you will find this in Dan and know he will do his best.

8 years ago I was pulled over for a DUI after moving here from an eastern state. As I had no understaning of DUI laws in Washington, I refused to take the breathalizer test resulting in a mandatory one year suspension and much grief and loss of money.
In February of this year I was again pulled over for supposedly weaving across lanes. I unfortunetly had a better understanding of the law and followed all that was asked of me.
After spending over $20,000 for my first offense and recieving little to no legal benefits, I determined to find a Lawyer that would listen and plan a defense that worked in my favor. Dan was able to have my DOL suspension dropped due to an improper stop. As we dealt with the Court aspects of the case he was diligent in moving the case forward and we eventually settled for a one month suspension and 6 months of classes. I can assure you that Dan did an excellent job at a fraction of the cost.
As a white collar executive, I was deeply concerned on the effects this case might have on my career. Dan worked hard to make sure all court apperances, interviews and court ordered classes were scheduled around my job.
I would recomend Dan Ger to anyone who is in need of a motivated, competent, compassionate lawyer.

Dan Gerl did an amazing job in representing me in an unfortunate incident this year. I was pulled over for a simple driving infraction, but the bigger problem was I had a suspended license due to an earlier DUI (in central Washington). This simple infraction turned into driving on a suspended license in the 3rd degree and came with a mandatory 30 day jail sentence.
I was beside myself; I was floored by the situation I found myself in. I’m a white collar professional and my career was just taking off. I’m a husband and father of four – this was obviously something I could not face alone. I found Dan after an intensive internet search. Out of the 10 attorneys I called, he was one of the few who actually listened to me. He put me at ease in the first 5 minutes of our conversation and I knew he was the only person I could trust with so much on the line.
Other attorney’s brought up their fees in the first two minutes of our conversation. Dan didn’t bring up money until I brought it up. After I retained Dan, he immediately took off and began all the leg work. He called often and would text me updates when I couldn’t take his calls. I never wondered where we were with the case and he made sure I understand our situation every step of the way. More importantly, he continually reinforced the positives and kept my spirits up throughout the length of the case. I was able to be mentally present for a 50 hour work week, a wife, and 4 kids during this whole ordeal.
My first experience with an attorney was a nightmare and I wasn’t sure what to expect this time. Dan was sincere and actually cared about the case. I work for a major local corporation and this would have ended my career. There is no way they would have approved a 30 day leave of absence for this situation. Facing 30 days in jail was a nightmare waiting to happen and would be the second biggest setback in my life, only behind my DUI.
Amazingly, Dan was able to reduce my driving on a suspended license in the 3rd degree (mandatory 30 days in jail) to a simple traffic fine. I couldn’t believe it. My whole world was on the brink of disaster and through Dan’s hard work - he saved me and my family from a life changing experience. I recommend Dan to anyone regardless of their situation. He’s worth every penny and more! He never judged me and helped me understand that good people sometimes make stupid decisions. I was only driving because my friend wasn’t feeling well and asked me to get us off the interstate. I never thought a simple favor would turn into what Dan helped me through. I truly believe my life would be upside down right now if I hadn’t met Dan.

I hired Mr. Gerl regarding my DUI case. Confused, and worried about my possible outcomes for this matter I was quickly put at ease as Mr. Gerl educated me on the laws and possible positive outcomes for my case. His intelligence and persistent demeanor allowed for him to negotiate a favorable outcome for my case, which resulted in bartered down DUI to a negligent 1 with significantly reduced fines. With extreme satisfaction in his services I have recently referred my family and friends to Mr. Gerl, and would recommend him and his excellent staff to anyone

Words can't explain Dan Gerl. Dan is trustworthy, extremely knowledgable, tactful, realistic and an asset to the justice system. Dan is very thorough and realistic with his clients. Dan looks at the big picture, realistic approach and outcomes. Dan is on top of things. With Dan on my case, there was never a time I had to ask how things were going or what was next... Dan was always 100 miles ahead of me with interviews, planning and tactic. I would recommend Dan to anyone during these stressful times.

Dan is the best lawyer I have never met. He is consistent and wanting to help me as much as possible. He let me know the status of the case at least two or three times a week.

In January 2010 I was facing a prior DUI and a brand new one -- two DUI charges at the same time. I was in trouble! My best friend referred me to Park Chenaur & Associates. When I got there I explained my legal situation as well as my financial status. They were very understanding and helped me with a reasonable payment plan. DUI attorney Dan Gerl represented me; he looked at every aspect of my case, and he was able to negotiate a very favorable resolution which resulted in one of the charges being dismissed. The way he handled my case gave me hope, and made me as though I was not going through this alone. I want to thank Park Chenaur and Dan for getting my life back!
