Earlier this year, I was charged with obstruction and the prosecution had a very strong case. I sought the legal services of Christopher Carney, which turned out to be a very wise decision.

Christopher gave me the option of taking the case to trial, but he also informed me that we could handle the charge outside of trial and likely achieve a favorable outcome.

We elected to make a plea bargain of sorts with the prosecution. Christopher arranged everything with the prosecutor and kept me informed of the proceedings. He was readily available by phone and email and prompty returned all phone calls and inquiries. He kept me informed of court dates and all relevant information, making the process relevatively painless for me.

Ultimately, the charge was DISMISSED on a 6 month "stipulated order of continuance" meaning this charge is no longer on my record. In addition, he was able to persuade the prosecution (referencing HIPA) to agree to seal an alcohol evaluation that was court-mandated for the S.O.C., despite the judge's insistence that this was apparently unprecedented.

Overall, I am very grateful to have used the legal services of Mr. Christopher Carney. His rates were much lower than I expected, and I couldn't have hoped for a better outcome. I would, and will continue to, recommend him to anyone requiring the services of a highly competent, compassionate and responsive criminal defense attorney.
