In 2009 I was indicted on Federal charges including conspiracy, distribution and delivery of controlled substances. I will always be grateful to Mr. Carney for how he handled my case. I trust Mr. Carney implicitly and because of this, he was able to give me some peace of mind throughout an otherwise very distressing course of events.

Chris was extremely responsive to all my questions and concerns throughout the process. None of my calls went unanswered even while in detention. Chris acted only with my knowledge and approval.He fostered an open and honest dialogue with me so that I understood the situation I was in. He explained the proceedings and outlined the possible outcomes of various courses of action we might take. He gave me options for how we might proceed, gave his best recommendations and made sure I felt comfortable with whatever decision we made.

Chris worked from the very start to build a rapport with the prosecutor, the pretrial staff, the probation office, magistrates and finally my sentencing judge. In doing so, he managed to make sure that all verbal agreements made throughout my case were honored by the parties involved.

Chris was present, prepared and engaged in every proceeding including my pre-sentencing interview and made several visits to see me while in detention to prepare me for upcoming appearances. Chris made sure my loved ones were informed throughout and helped to organize their letters to the judge for my sentencing.

The end result of his work was the best possible outcome. Mr. Carney made sure I was eligible for drug and alcohol abuse programs in the prison through the recommendation of the judge. This assured my early release upon completion of the program. Mr. Carney told me at the beginning of my case what he saw as the best possible outcome. Through his hard work, he managed to achieve just that. Because of this, me and my loved ones were prepared to deal with my sentence with no surprises.

Chris led me through this very troubling time in my life and did so with the utmost compassion and respect. I highly recommend Mr. Carney to anyone who needs an attorney with integrity who they can trust to represent them.

Earlier this year, I was charged with obstruction and the prosecution had a very strong case. I sought the legal services of Christopher Carney, which turned out to be a very wise decision.

Christopher gave me the option of taking the case to trial, but he also informed me that we could handle the charge outside of trial and likely achieve a favorable outcome.

We elected to make a plea bargain of sorts with the prosecution. Christopher arranged everything with the prosecutor and kept me informed of the proceedings. He was readily available by phone and email and prompty returned all phone calls and inquiries. He kept me informed of court dates and all relevant information, making the process relevatively painless for me.

Ultimately, the charge was DISMISSED on a 6 month "stipulated order of continuance" meaning this charge is no longer on my record. In addition, he was able to persuade the prosecution (referencing HIPA) to agree to seal an alcohol evaluation that was court-mandated for the S.O.C., despite the judge's insistence that this was apparently unprecedented.

Overall, I am very grateful to have used the legal services of Mr. Christopher Carney. His rates were much lower than I expected, and I couldn't have hoped for a better outcome. I would, and will continue to, recommend him to anyone requiring the services of a highly competent, compassionate and responsive criminal defense attorney.
