I feel compelled to write this review because I can't say enough about Hugh. He advocated for me, returned all calls/messages/emails - no matter what day of the week, kept it real, didn't blow fluff, explained the processes, remembered and retained vital information, let me talk while he patiently l...istened. When it came time for mediation, he let me know what to expect, how it was going to work, what the other side was going to do and say. And he was never wrong! During our mediation, he explained the who/what/why, what we were going to do, consulted with his colleagues to bounce off ideas, and conducted himself in a professional, yet relaxed and relatable manner. It is hard to find an attorney who believes in you, who talks your language, knows how to steer the conversation to what is important instead of worrying about the he said/she said little stuff. I never felt rushed or unimportant. It is SO rare to find an attorney who treats you like a human being while fighting what seems like a Goliath. I would hands down, wholeheartedly recommend Hugh to anyone who has employment issues. He will go to bat for you. You will NOT feel like just another number or case. The whole process was simple, even living 3.5 hours away from his office. Do not be afraid to hire an out-of-town attorney because Hugh is worth it.
