Mr. Carpenter really helped me during my time of need. He always answered all of my questions no matter how ridiculous they may have been or how busy he was. This was by far the most important investment I have EVER made! If you are in need of a lawyer I would definitely recommed Mr. Carpenter. He really helped me put my mind at ease and provided much needed piece of mind. Even after everything was all done he still helped me tie up any and all loose ends.
When you're in court you want a lawyer who will crawl, kick, and scratch for every inch of ground and advantage you can get. Mr. Carpenter did this for me. He's very intelligent and able to articulate what is best for you. He also took the time and effort to understand every single aspect of my case. Absolutely would hire him again.
Greetings to all !!!
I am a Non Commissioned Officer of the United States Army .
I hired Mr Carpenter in the beginning of April 2015.
I was accused of something I never did , and immediately got under investigation and got flagged . I was under investigation from April 2015 until August 2015.
Mr Carpenter provided me most excellent and proficient services . He helped me to clear my name and my reputation . His competence and confidence saved me and my military career .
I am very grateful to Mr Carpenter and I am highly recommending his services to anyone who in need .
One day in December 2014, CID informed me that I was under investigation for actions that I allegedly committed eight years ago. My case was difficult since a great deal of time had passed, and any evidence in my favor was lost or forgotten. With protecting my reputation and 24-year career at the forefront, I canvassed several successful former military litigators and each recommended hiring a civilian attorney, specifically Mr. Carpenter. Despite his caseload and the lack of evidence in my favor, he took my case and developed my defense. From the beginning, Mr. Carpenter lent calm to the situation. He succinctly outlined what confronted me, depending on the results of the investigation and the Government’s actions. Mr. Carpenter spent the next four months communicating with the government counsel concerning my circumstances. No matter where I was in the world, Mr. Carpenter answered my calls and kept me abreast of the developments. He drafted my rebuttal and prepared me for the meeting with my commander. His knowledge of the UCMJ, expert counsel, and legal assistance ultimately improved the outcome from a probable show-cause board or court martial to a local letter of reprimand. I highly recommend that you retain Mr. Carpenter to represent you. He is worth your career.
I would recommend Mr. Carpenter to anyone facing separation. Mr. Carpenter was able to get me retained after facing a possible dishonorable discharge. Instead Of receiving a dishonorable discharge I was retained on active duty and was able to keep all my benefits after ETS'ing. Without Mr. Carpenter I don't know where I would be.
A co-worker sexually harassed me within 30 days of my arrival in the unit; I reported the incident hoping the SHARP representative and the command would do the right things. Instead I was treated inhumanely from ridiculous findings of fabricated the incident ... and recommendations of negative counseling for effective communication and anger management. I called Mr. Carpenter and we submitted an appeal. Today I received a call “a full vindication and findings of reprisal". Mr. Carpenter, I cannot thank you enough. If you are in the military and need a lawyer, I highly suggest contacting Stephen Carpenter ASAP . You will not be disappointed

Stephen Carpenter pulled a Hail Mary that absolutely saved the career I'd worked so hard on for 15 years. I was under an investigation that had dragged on for months and months that was surely about to end my field grade career and potentially put me in jail and/or out of the service. Having that hanging over my head day in and day out put me in a slump and I couldn't sleep, had trouble focusing, lost all motivation to do anything and couldn't bear being around the people I had to work with. I took leave over and over again just to escape. A military lawyer friend of mine told me to hire a civilian lawyer because of the freedoms they have and the motivation they have that military lawyers might not. I couldn't believe he would recommend that, but I did my research and wanted the absolute best, no matter what the cost. That's when I found Stephen. I sent a plea for help, and Stephen met with me the very next day. He continued to be as responsive to my inquiries throughout the process which gave me peace of mind and he never judged me or the situation I was in. His bearing, his expertise, and his vast knowledge of the system that was about to end my way of life, (a life I'd worked so hard for for over a decade) put me at ease immediately and that alone was worth the retainer. I should have done it at the very beginning of the investigation because he was a force to be reckoned with once I had him in my corner. He dove into my case, saturated himself with knowledge of the evidence they had against me, protected me from further questioning, got information from our military legal folks about the status of my case, and had access to subject matter experts to help defend me. He also directly engaged my leadership to tell them the charges were ridiculous. All that put together got my case pretty much dismissed. Not even in my wildest dreams would I have imagined it could go so well. Although I was looking at potential jail time and a general or other than honorable discharge, I got nothing. My name was cleared fully, I was unflagged and given high ratings for my last eval, I went into a nominative position after that one, I maintained my career, started sleeping through the night, kept my family intact, stayed out of jail, and kept the life I'd been working for. Even my Mom is thankful for what he did for me. I wish I'd contacted him sooner, he was a life saver and I'd absolutely recommend him to anyone that finds themselves worried about their military careers at any point of the nonjudicial or judicial process. Thank you Mr. Carpenter, I'll never forget what you did for me.

Mr. Carpenter made me feel safe. When no one seemed to be on my side, he was. Anytime I needed to contact him, he made himself available. He was engaging with my Command and very knowledgeable on Coast Guard/Military policies. My initial contact with Mr. Carpenter was immediate, with no hassles, no forms or procedures that needed to be taken care first. He took care of everything, and most importantly me. He was recommended to me, and the only person I have and will continue to recommend to others.

I will say that Mr. Carpenter took the time to fully understand my concerns and told my story in a powerful way to let my command know that there is not enough ground for what I have been accused for by his pertinent information that he sent. He regularly communicate with me to let me know what the next step will be, this built our relationship based on trust and I feel has shown me empathy and compassion. Even though my people tried to keep him away Mr. Carpenter showed perseverance to put more time in getting the job done by his knowledgeable skills about the law. On many occasions Mr. Carpenter has shown them that they do not possess the knowledge. Mr. Carpenter is a warrior who has shown the spirit that is fed by cleverly getting to the desired outcome even though my people continued to use their title and position. I will say that Mr. Carpenter is a “great lawyer”.

Within the scope of what he can do, Mr Carpenter can do amazing things. Outside of the military justice system, his hands are tied, so if your issue involves your commander, remember they are an entirely different beast.
Got my charge dropped and me out with my head held high.
