Inexpensive, but Priceless

About a year and a half ago I was pulled over, and ultimately given a blood test and had my purse searched. They told me I would hear back from them by the end of the month, but I didn't get anything until about two months ago, when I received a notice in the mail from the prosecutor that I was being charged with felony possession of heroin, but offered a deal of misdemeanor soliciting possession and DUI (including one day in jail, a couple thousand dollar fine, suspended license then breathelizer on the ignition and something like 5 years probation). Needless to say I was quite scared and, having never been through anything remotely like this, rather lost. I began by researching criminal defense/DUI lawyers online, called a bunch of them, then whittled it down to the top three I wanted to meet (in the free consultation most of the lawyers I found offer). When I met with Lance he was extremely helpful, and told me exactly how to proceed, even if I didn't hire him. He even noticed that getting my charges separated if I took the deal would shorten my probation considerably, so he told me to make sure that my lawyer did that, even if I didn't hire him. He also showed concern for getting me emotional/therapeutic help, and made sure to help me take care of more than just the legal aspect of my problems without being fake, cheesy or preachy. On top of all this I just generally got a good vibe from him. My parents had very very graciously offered to pay for a lawyer for me and they told me not to choose based in price because of what an important situation this was. As a result I didn't ask about price until I was pretty sure I wanted to hire Lance, and it turned out he cost about half as much, if not less, than the other lawyers I looked at. Lance explained to me that there were some issues (from a police perspective) with my case. The search of my purse was a bit sketchy and I was pulled over based on a phone call. He said he would look into these things, but would not recommend turning down the deal unless we were absolutely positive about me not getting the felony. He told me he would also see if he could get me reckless driving instead of the DUI, so I was hopeful I would have a misdemeanor and a reckless driving charge, especially after my blood results came back clean. Lance explained I should be prepared to take the deal, as it was significantly better than the felony and you never knew what the prosecutor was gonna decide, so if they didn't go for a lesser charge, it probably wouldn't be worth it to push it. Whenever I called him he always got right back to me and I really felt like he was taking me and my case seriously. I fully trusted that he was gonna get the best deal he could for me and so left it up to him. As a result when I got the call from him saying that the prosecutor had agreed to DISMISS ALL CHARGES (without prejudice) I was ecstatic. He never got my hopes up, but he delivered more than I ever even hoped for. I cannot say enough good things about Lance Fryrear. If anybody I knew needed I lawyer I would recommend Lance in a second. So if you're looking for a lawyer and wondering who to get, I really don't think you can go wrong with Lance!

Lance was very easy to converse with, and always made me feel very grateful that he was helping me. Believe me....you need someone of his caliber on your side. You cannot do this by yourself. Gradually, my situation improved, thanks only to Lance's expertise, aided I am sure by his former experience as a prosecutor, and general ability to work well with others within the court system. In the beginning I was looking at a possible felony, and could not believe that I ended up with a dismissal in my case. A dismissal, I soon learned, is the absolute best case scenario you can hope for. I felt like I won the lotto!!!! I wanted to jump to the moon. The tension just drained out of my body. I can't express the level of confidence I have in Lance. He is worth so much more then I paid him. I highly recommend him, and would use him again in a heartbeat, if I ever needed an attorney. Lance, thank you so much again for everything you did for me!

Lance was a life saver! He really cared and helped me get through the worst moment in my life. He always took my calls and answered any questions I had. He has a way to make you feel better even though your going through a traumatic experience. He was honest with me and was always right. He won my case and saved my life! Thank You Lance!

Lance from the beginning recognized that it was unfortunate I was having to face charges that I shouldn't be facing. His hope was to have the charges completely dropped but in almost all cases the prosecutor wants something for their time. Not only did the charges get dropped in two years I can have them removed from my record as if it never happened. My uncle is a lawyer in another state, they have a way to check each other out from a professional point of view... He said if he was in a situation like I was, he would hire Lance.

A high level of professionalism and integrity and I highly recommend Mr. Lance Fryrear. Lance is exceedingly knowledgeable, efficient, and familiar with the legal system of WA with specific to the various jurisdictions. Most importantly, Lance is non-biased. He expressed his genuine compassion towards me and made the effort to listen to my story. He did not make any promises upfront but rather presented both sides (Prosecutor vs. Defense) to me. After meeting with Lance for the first time; leaving his office, I felt cautiously optimistic. Lance is a very efficient, professional, and talented attorney. I ran into a case with bad cop, nasty teenager, tough prosecutor and my poor English skill because English is not my native language. Lance is very familiar with the system, guided me through the process and offer the sound evidences. He also argued with the tough prosecutor for a long time, and eventually got my case dismissed with prejudice. Awesome job, Lance! I will highly recommend him!
Multiple fish and wildlife charges

I was charged with 3 gross misdemeanor fish and wildlife violations. 2 charges ended up dismissed and 1 reduced to an infraction with a small fine. I am extremely pleased with the result. I have spoke to many attorneys before choosing Lance. I really like the way he spent an hour in his office with me free of charge and listened to my story. He laid out different possibilities that can achieve what I want (no criminal record), and I left his office feeling reassured. He did not give me any empty promises, just information. The biggest reason I picked him is because he and him alone gave me the impression that he's willing to negotiate hard on my behalf to achieve my goal, and I felt confident that he won't just take the first offer and be done with. He even took my case that is 90 miles away and was not even charging me more than lawyers that are located out there. Overall I cannot speak highly enough of his professionalism and will not hesitate to use him again if needed (hope not).

Lance is no cheapie, but you get what you pay for. He handled my cast expediently, professionally and successfully. The JUDGE said this is a good outcome for me, and I should thank my lawyer! Then, because of a clerical error by the court, I found myself in a puddle of hot water with the DOL. Lance handled that too, at considerable effort on his part and no expense to me. Injustice pisses him off. I like that in a lawyer. Lance is a MENCH!

I had one of them murphys law moments and ended up with a hit and run attended.... its a long story but lance and his staff helped me out with any questions and updated with what was going on with my case ... i ended up with a dismissal and life was again good . iv recomended him a couple times now and will continue to do so.
