By far the best attorney I have ever hired! I was in quite a bit of distress about a ticket for almost double the speed limit. I called attorney Shaffer Cormell's office and within a few minutes I was speaking to the man himself. I was in my 1999 Ford 150 truck which has 190,000 miles driving between 65 and 70 mph (which 75 is the top speed of this truck) on the 10 FWY passing thru Banning, CA. The next thing I know a local Banning police officer is pulling me over and gives me a ticket for speeding. When I indicated the truck doesn't run that fast, he threw the ticket on my passenger seat and said, "have a nice day"! At that point, I knew he was lying about my ticket.

On 3/19/12 I was stopped for making a right turn on red. The Officer showed photos of ‘no right turn on red 3 to 6PM’ signs visible as I approached the intersection. I had dropped my guard and did not see the signs.

The Officer pointed to the Temecula Traffic Court phone number and said: call them, they will help you.

I was not able to talk to a live person at the Court. I expected a fine of $400 or more and Traffic School. I followed instructions and was unable to gain any information about my case.

On 4/21/12 I talked with a live person at Epay-it.com. I was told that Citation TE120790124 was not found. That it may take up to 3 weeks from the day a citation is issued before the law enforcement agency submits the information to the court. You will not be able to address your case using the internet until the information is entered into the court's case management system.

My appearance date was 5/21/12. I needed an attorney. I know the rules for finding an attorney. Ask friends. Look for an attorney known to the Court. Go to Court and see your prospective attorney defend clients in Court.

I Googled Temecula Traffic Court Attorney and found fees so low I knew I would send money and receive nothing in return and Schaffer T. Cormell.

I called his office. Karina Cormell, Secretary to Shaffer Cormell accessed the Temecula Traffic Court computer and gained complete information on my case. She asked: do you wish to hire Schaffer Cormell? I replied absolutely yes and mailed a check. Karina sent an email saying she received a 60 day extension to July 23, 2012.

Attorney Shaffer Cormell got my red light ticked dismissed - rightfully so! He saved me the hassle of going to court and dealing with it myself, or paying for it and having it on my record, when it shouldn't have been.

I had contacted another lawyer before I called Mr. Cormell's office. I was very discouraged and almost didn't make the phone call to his office. I decided to go ahead and get a second opinion though. Boy, was that a good decision!

When I called him the first time, he spoke to me at 9:30 PM!!!! Very nice and trustworthy attorney. I had called several for a speeding ticket and I was struck with his trustworthiness. When I asked him if he could gaurantee to help me succeed with the case, he said he could not guarantee!!! Eventhough, that might have meant that I might go to another attorney who would "gaurantee". I found him to be trustworthy and believed him. He took the time to explain everything to me and worked with me on the payment schedule..... He kept his communication via email of what was going on with the case. At the end, he succeeded to change the ticked to a non-speeding traffic violation which means no points on my license and no inc. in insurance. I cannot lie, I wish not to have to use his services again, as I hope to get another ticket. But...... if I need to, I will definately contact him. I was the victim of a red light camera. These intrusive cameras are a scourge in southern california. Bankrupt San Bernardino wanted $500 in extortion payment because I stopped slightly beyond the limit line. I contacted Mr. Cormell's office via e mail a short time after receiving the arizona originated citation. He got back to me on the phone promptly and reviewed my case. He explained that he would represent me and fight it in court without my presence even being required. The fee was fair. He immediately got a continuance. A few weeks later I was informed that Mr. Cormell had appeared in court and the citation was dismissed. He did everything asked of him. I was completely satisfied with this attorney.

While traveling back through the country I received a ticket that I had taken care off . I was stuck in a catch 22. Mr. Cormell was very helpful with my red light case. My daughter didn't even know she ran a red light until the citation came to our home. I contacted Mr. Cormell about Christmas time of 2011. I had some outstanding tickets from 2001-2002 in California.
