Phillip Lemmons is a seasoned trust, estate and probate attorney who represents professional fiduciaries, trustees, executors, administrators, conservatees, conservators, guardians, beneficiaries and omitted heirs in all probate court-related matters. He has handled a wide range of cases from challenging the validity of multi-million dollar trusts to releasing seniors from inappropriate conservatorships. He is an extremely talented and aggressive litigator.
He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California and his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law, where he also received an Exceptional Achievement Award in Tax Litigation. He served as a law clerk at several locations: LAPD’s Police Litigation Unit, California Superior Court for the County of Los Angeles, and the United States Attorney’s Office, Tax Litigation Division. Prior to law school, Phillip Lemmons served as a Public Safety Officer at the University of Southern California.
Drawing on his law enforcement background and extensive experience as a probate litigator, Phillip Lemmons authored a book titled: “Stealing Home, A Cons Guide To Inheritance Theft.” He has spoken at legal events on various estate planning topics. He is a member of the State Bar of California, the California Bar Association Estates and Trust Section, the Orange County Bar Association Estates and Trusts Section and the Los Angeles County Bar Association Estates and Trusts Section.

Excellent Attorney
I have worked with Mr. Lemmons and his staff since 2004. It took he & his staff 7 long years to end an awful divorce situation due to the lack of support my ex-spouse. He & his staff were always there for me and helped me through a very difficult situation.

Pricey consultation fee with an aggressive action plan then pawned off to a different attorney with no action.

As your former lead attorney, I have personal and direct recollection of all the events that occurred in this matter. The comments I read here were so different from my recollection that I reviewed your file to see if I had missed something. The review confirms my initial recollection. Our firm handles legal matters that stir up emotions. People don’t always treat each other with the respect and dignity they deserve. At times emotions can run so high facts get distorted and communication breaks down. That is why I have an open door policy to address client concerns free of charge.
