For financial reasons, my husband and I had been living apart. Being unable to find work in the U.S. during the recession, he relocated overseas while I continued my studies in the U.S..
When we decided to begin the process of adjustment of status, we were worried that we would encounter significant difficulties due to the fact that we spent so much time away from each other. We did not have the traditional lifestyle of a married couple since we were only able to see each other for 1 month out of the year.
Luckily we found Ms. Hoffman on AVVO.com. During the process, Ms. Hoffman found solutions to all difficulties we encountered. She suggested an extensive list of documents we could provide to support our case (most of which were far from obvious). When my husband could not make the initial interview date, Ms. Hoffman was able to reschedule on very short notice and to a very convenient date. Before the interview, she met with us to ensure we were well prepared and knew what we could expect.
Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the services provided by Ms. Hoffman and her wonderful assistant Yulia who maintained close contact with us at all times to ensure all details were in order.
We would definitely recommend Ms. Hoffman and her office to anybody with an immigration-related matter.

Let me begin by saying I would highly recommend Attorney Hoffman to ANYONE with an immigration case, no matter how difficult the case may be. She has an extremely high work ethic, an endless knowledge base, notices even the minutest detail, and seems to work endlessly to accomplish a task. She is personable, congenial, understanding, very easy to talk to, and a great listener. Now a bit about our case.
I fell in love with and married my husband knowing his status in the United States was uncertain, as he had a previous ruling of marriage fraud from his first marriage. After several frustrating meetings with attorneys that said they were unable to help because fraud rulings were final, I searched for an attorney with a solid immigration background. I found Aggie Hoffman. I cannot praise Attorney Hoffman enough for the hard work and dedication she bestowed upon us from the time she agreed to help us with our case and throughout the entire process. The case was very complex because of the previous fraud ruling, yet Ms. Hoffman worked closely with us to collect all of the evidence to the contrary, including extensive declarations from the ex-spouse, friends, counselors, etc. In addition to providing substantial proof the previous ruling was unjust, Ms. Hoffman also prepared us well for our interview. I had no idea what to expect, but our interview was seamless and smooth and she was there by our sides for the entire meeting. The case was approved without any request for evidence. Within two weeks after our interview, we had an approval letter and within a month, a permanent resident card! We can now begin to live our lives fully, without any restrictions or fear of travel. Time to take that honeymoon we have been dreaming of………
I will finish with saying we are ecstatic and cannot praise Attorney Hoffman enough! We will be calling her again when it’s time for the unconditional resident card.

I got married 3 years ago. And soon after the relationship became difficult. My wife became abusive, even lying about my green card and threatening to deport me. During that time a friend of mine recommended me to consult Miss.Hoffman. Whom she helped in 1985 get his political asylum approved. My lawyer made sure I collected the evidence of my wife's behavior, and the result was successful. My I-360 was approved under the VAWA provisions. Miss. Hoffman has wealth of experience in the field of immigration cases. And what ever issue you are facing With immigration, she can help to get the job done.

My wife and I are in a same sex marriage and we were applying to adjust my status and were concerned about the treatment we would receive. Aggie's knowledge and experience are unsurpassed. If you are trying to decide on an immigration lawyer look no further. The red tape was negotiated expertly and the results were exactly what we wanted in a very quick amount of time. Thank you Aggie. We couldn't have wished for a better outcome.

I came to Ms. Aggie seeking asylum from Syria. She was very kind and helped me organize my case and write my affidavit, she prepared me well to the interview and came with me. Ms Aggie did not only get my application approved, but she expedited my interview so that my case was granted within 5 months of filing, and now she is processing my husband’s case who is still abroad.

After 2 years struggling with another attorney, being mislead, wasting time and money, being denied 2 different types of visa (O1 and P1) I finally was introduced to Mrs. Hoffman. She is a little pricy, but it's worthy. Like they say, If you pay bad you pay twice.
She knows all the laws and it exceptions, she knows what she is doing, she can get the job done.
With my little experience, I would say she is the best immigration lawyer in LA. She deserves all the titles and awards she has. She was able to get my E2 visa approved with a very small amount of investment. They say you need around $200k, she got mine with 25% of that amount. It was a miracle what she did for us.
We will hire her in the future to apply for a green card.
I would recommend her to anyone with a tough case.
Thank you so much Mrs. Hoffman

Thank you for making this a simple and efficient process. Unlike other types of law, the citizenship application process is something you only do once. So, we both want you to know how much we appreciate your handling of this and for achieving a successful outcome.
