If nothing else, I feel Attorney Sloan was a Godsend. I made a horrible decision celebrating a work promotion with friends I hadn't seen in ages and decided to drive home, ultimately jeopardizing so much I had worked so tirelessly to achieve. My charges were severe, but with Attorney Sloan's guidance, I made out with the best possible scenario. Attorney Sloan was responsive, attentive, knowledgeable and tenacious. Every question I had was answered within minutes. His customer service was exceptional. I was charged in November of 2014, and Attorney Sloan did all that he could, fighting my case until June of 2015, taking every route he could to ensure he fought his very best on my behalf. My case was not cut and dry, as there were many components that could have been the nail in my coffin, yet somehow Attorney Sloan was able to save me six months in jail, for an alternative of one day and one week of monitoring. He's worth his weight in gold and if you ever find yourself in the horrible situation of DUI, please contact him immediately. It will result in the best possible outcome for you in your situation.

As an out of state resident (Wisconsin), I was very anxious about the whole process. Mr. Sloan put my mind at east and best of all, he did exactly what he said he was going to do. Although I was charged with DUI, Reckless Driving, and Excessive Speed, he told me from the beginning that likely the DUI would stay, but he would get all the other charges dropped. This is exactly what happened. Now, a year later, Mr. Sloan still answers any questions I have in a very prompt manner, and my case has been Set Aside. Thanks again Brian!

I called Brian on my son's DUI and he explained the law and challenges that we would face and we decided that he was a good fit to represent my son. Over the next year, Brian diligently pursued the case even when it seemed that all the odds were against my son. Brian then turned a DUI involving illegal drugs into a reckless driving conviction, with no jail time, and my son did not have to even come back to Arizona for any court dates. We are all very thankful for Brian's hard work.

In a case that was supposed to be a slam dunk for prosecutors, Attorney Brian Sloan definitely threw a major kink in their plans with his tact and extensive knowledge of the law, combined with his refusal to give up and feed me to the wolves. My "one day" trial turned into a five day battle in which he crucified states witnesses and made their testimony shaky at best. A clear win coming out of trial, I highly recommend Mr. Sloan to anyone who wants nothing but the best. A man with integrity and tenacity.

On January 29, 2015, I was charged with an Extreme DUI along with other charges. I immediately sought the help from Brian D. Sloan in hopes to decrease the charges for a first time offense. As a member of the military and also a nursing student, I had a lot to lose if I went to jail for a long period of time. Brian recommended that I immediately complete the Alcohol screening and DUI education classes to help with my case when it came time to go to court. Brian took care of everything, including attending to my court dates until the final court date where I was then convicted. Brian was up front, he did not promise me anything but was confident he could help me. The price was not too much to ask for the services he provided and I was able to pay in two different payments. He also extended my driving privileges so that I could get everything in order and I was able to have an input on the date when I wanted my driving privileges suspended. At the end, Brian arranged a plea where I plead guilty to a Regular DUI with one day in jail. All other charges were dropped.

I was facing about 6 months in jail due to this being my 2nd super (bac .26)...he told me within the first 10 minutes of our consultation that i was facing around 6 months realistically. he was very upfront with me and did not get my hopes up. After deciding to hire him, any question i asked he answered VERY fast. About a week before my final court hearing he let me know what my Final plea agreement was and I was okay with it knowing a second offense was pretty serious. then the day of my court hearing he told me he was trying one last time for a better plea agreement, which was a surprise to me because I thought I was just going to court to sign my already good plea he got me. So i was sitting in court waiting and he came up to me and told me he did end up getting me the better plea agreement and I plead to a 2nd time extreme with 24 days in jail on work release. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome given the situation I put myself in. So with that being said, the previous post does not at all seem like my experience with this lawyer. reading everybody else's experience on this website was the reason why I chose him. I do not want that post to taint his positive reviews because he is completely worth the money.

Arizona DUI penalties are the same for everyone on the first offense. Brian should have been upfront at our initial consultation and told me that there was nothing he could do for me. Instead, he gave me the impression that he could negotiate a better deal than I would get on my own or with a public defender. He took my money, and I ended up with the same results that I would have had without his "help." He did not stand by me at my sentencing. Instead, he sent a very young and inexperienced associate who really just phoned it in. I didn't even get out of jail early, which he highlighted as an advantage of his service. Hiring Brian just ended up being another costly mistake.

On March, 5, 2014 I was charged with four aggravated DUIs and was given a court appointed attorney lawyer. She was a private lawyer with a government contract, and did not care about me or my case one bit. She was very unprofessional, would not hear me out on my case, disregarded my family when I tried to introduce her to them, and without notice did not show up to a court date.
She advised me to plead to a felony with 4 months jail without even investigating my case. I did not agree with my court appointed lawyer, and I sought out a second opinion from different attorney. I was referred to Brian Sloan.
He was very professional from the start; took the time to hear and understand my case to then discover that I was not given an appropriate plea that was suitable due to my circumstances. He was very interested in helping me because I was given ineffective assistance from my court appointed lawyer. He said to me that he could not just sit back and watch me take a felony when clearly I should not be.
Mr. Sloan took on my case, thoroughly went through my case with me and explained my charges and the accurate consequences for my actions to better help my understanding of what I was in for. Unlike my court appointed lawyer, Mr. Sloan was very up front and precise with my case. In a week, he was able to carefully cross examine the case and reduced the felony plea from four months in jail, plus more, to a misdemeanor plea with thirty days in jail and work furlough.
I am very considerate and thankful to the fact he took on my case because he wanted to make sure I was given honest representation. I definitely refer him to anyone facing a DUI.

Mr. Sloan did an excellent job by guiding me through the entire criminal process, from initial consultation, all the way through the conclusion of my case. At each step, Brian clearly communicated all of my options, and offered his opinion on what he thought would be the best one. Mr. Sloan proved himself to be an intelligent and terrific litigator. His knowledge and comfort with DUI laws was a superior advantage in going through the process.
From the very beginning Mr. Sloan told me that I was innocent. Although the prosecutor didn't agree, they were willing to offer a very beneficial plea agreement. Mr. Sloan recommended that we keep fighting, and he even did the trial for free because he so believed in my case. In the end, the jury came back NOT GUILTY on all counts. It was scary, but I rightfully put my trust into Brian. I cannot thank him enough.

Brian exceeded my expectations with his flexibility and expertise in the services he provided. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to have had him as my representative for my case. The process was smooth and fast, which took a lot of stress off my shoulders. He was always available to answer any type of questions I would have. Through his hard work and dedication he was able to reduce a DUI into a reckless driving.
