DWI - Client Not Driving

Outcome: Case Dismissed

Description: Client was accused of driving while intoxicated after getting out of a car through the passenger door and blew a .32. The police admitted that they lost sight of my client for several seconds, but the prosecutor was insistent that client must have been driving. My investigation uncovered a witness who watched another person run out of the door; when the witness tried to speak with the police, they threatened to arrest him. Once the prosecutor was made aware of the witness, the case was dismissed.
