Former Cook County prosecutor who now handles only appeals. Attorney Omer Jaleel's practice is limited to appellate litigation: criminal direct appeals, Illinois post-conviction petitions, petitions for leave to appeal to the Illinois Supreme Court, direct federal appeals to the Seventh Circuit, and federal habeas corpus proceedings. He served as an Assistant State's Attorney in the Trial and Appellate Divisions of the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, has practiced law since 2008, and has argued before all five Illinois appellate districts.
