Tatiana's past experience includes the successful negotiation and drafting of several high end commercial and residential leases and contracts. And, while with her former employer, she helped win the zoning change for a large local planned development and shopping center. In addition to her real estate practice and experience, Tatiana's trial experience includes well over one hundred bench trials and five jury trials to verdict. In her tenure at the Cook County States Attorney’s Office, she conducted hundreds of felony preliminary hearings and prepared cases for indictment. She has extensive knowledge of and first hand experience within the criminal court system and with law enforcement agencies. Tatiana's experience in these environments gives her an edge in defending criminal defendants.

Get the job done right the first time.

Tatiana worked with us on re-titling our home. Anyone who has been through a real estate transaction knows how rife the process is with delays, mistakes and issues in Cook County. Quit claim deeds and re-titling involves water certificates, tax ID's and a plethora of other departments. I called Tatiana to help us with the process and she got everything taken care of for us quickly, efficiently and cost effectively. The scope of the engagement was described in great detail, she was prompt on all inquiries and reviewed all materials to make sure we didn't run into any issues during the process. Don't think twice - hire Tatiana for all your legal needs. She's tenacious, hard working and incredibly detailed. She is also easy to talk to and is never too busy to answer a question. Very knowledgeable and effective Real Estate Attorney! She explained all the paperwork, and made sure that we understood every step of the home purchase. Excellent Criminal Defense

I contacted 8 different lawyers when looking for someone to represent me in a property damage case. Of those 8 I only found 2 to be knowledgeable, understanding, and realistic. Tatiana took the time to discuss details and possible outcomes in the case while keeping my expectations realistic and in check. The case ended up being thrown out initially; Tatiana did warn me it could be re-instated and it was. At the second court date Tatiana was quick to correct the prosecutors statements regarding the case and after some back and forth with the judge and prosecutor my case was dismissed on my second court date. When criminal matters were over Tatiana took the time to explain that I may still have civil liabilities and instructed me on how to handle such a situation.

Realtor Recommended

I have been working as a Realtor for 13 years. During that time, I have dealt with many real estate attorneys. Speeding Ticket

I was very pleased with how quick Tatiana was in returning calls, emails, texts, etc. I appreciated her honesty and how she made me feel so much better with just one phone call. I don't live in Illinois and was unsure where to turn but Tatiana gave me direction. She was able to reduce the fine and I did not go to jail or lose my license. Outstanding service!

I work with the public and am very detail oriented. Tatiana did an outstanding job helping us with the sale of our father's house. Chicago's best

New to Chicago and not familiar with the real estate market and all its legalities, I cringed at the fact I had to hire a new lawyer, past experience with real estate purchase gave me the impression it was all about their gain more than my protection. Wonderful

This was the first time I needed the services of a lawyer. Didn't know what to expect. Tatiana was very helpful and informative from the first time we spoke on the phone. Throughout my entire messy closing process: both of the sell and buy, T. Czaplicki "had my back." Review of Tatiana Czaplicki

My husband and I hired Tatiana to help us with the purchase of our first house, and we couldn't be happier. We dealt with a less-than-helpful loan officer at our bank, and there is no doubt in our mind that the purchase would not have been made in a timely manner if Tatiana had not pushed really hard on our behalf to make things happen! She was always available when we needed her, very knowledgeable, and last but not least friendly and understanding. We close the deal between Christmas and New Year, and had to wait for a document to arrive at a later date. Tatiana sent it over to us promptly. Last week, almost 6 months after we bought the house, we came across an issue regarding our home insurance. We didn't know whom to contact, so in the end we called Tatiana. She got in touch with someone else and helped us a great deal, as usual. We had a great experience with Tatiana and cannot recommend her enough!
