Due to the complete negligence of a couple with their dog, I got attacked. Barry said we should settle for somewhere around 9K based on past cases. With pictures of blood gushing from me, a police report which put the dog owners at 100% at fault, and the complete negligence of the owners should have made this an open and shut case. Months go by and communication is awful. The girl in his office sound like she does not have an education past 4th grade. Barry did not return phone calls or emails and when I finally get a response, he says he emailed me but he sure as hell did not. He says we can get $4200 but he'll try for more. This was less than half his previous estimate. As more time goes by, his assistant calls and loved to just talk in circles on how they got them up to $5700 and how it is such a great deal and that I should be happy I'm not maimed. They said I had no choice but to take it as going to trial would not work and that if I sued on my own, the cards would be stacked against me. So, I settle for a 1/3rd less than what he said we were going to settle for and it was clear he was just trying to pump my case through as fast as possible without much care or concern. I would find someone else who actually communicates, follows through on his words, and hires people who have at least half a brain and don't talk down to you as if you are full of crap. You are rolling the dice if you go with this guy.
