Mohamed v. Escobar/State Farm

Barry G. Doyle

Case Conclusion Date: January 30, 2012

Practice Area: Car / Auto Accident

Outcome: $100,000 policy limits

Description: The defendant made a left hand turn in front of a car in which the client was a passenger. The client suffered a fractured wrist which required surgery. There were 7 passengers in the client's vehicle, so the defendant did not carry enough liability insurance to properly compensate the client, so we submitted an undersinured motorist claim through the clients own policy. After the policy limits were divided among the claimants to the liability policy, we settled the underinsured motorist claim for the balance of the client's policy limits.
