Debbie was successful in reducing my second DUI within three years to reckless driving.
She is everything one can hope for in a criminal defense lawyer. Extremely professional and personable, but most of all dedicated to career in defending her client's rights. My situation was extremely frustrating and time consuming; the state put us both through hell and back. However, 3 years, 10 court dates, 2 motions, and 1 appeal later led me to an outcome I am completely grateful for.
Before hiring Miss. Moss I met with two other attorneys who seemed optimistic about my case. I chose Debbie because her legal advice seemed more practical and honest, and that it was.
Aside from her being an amazing attorney, she is extremely compassionate and showed great empathy for me and my situation. In fact, she could have easily charged me extra for the immense amount of time and energy she spent on trail preparation. Instead, she told me not worry, finish school and stay out of trouble. She's the best and I to say I "recommend" her would be an understatement.

My idea of an effective criminal defense lawyer was taken from the performance of Gregory Peck in the 1962 version of "To Kill A Mockingbird". Before Debbie Moss got involved in my case I had three attorneys who awoke me to the fact my illusion was a delusion. Her tenacity and dedication to the truth enabled me to finally have the hearing which vacated, what would have been a life time sentence, to a minimum sentence due to my previous guilty plea. In a packed courtroom she got justice served and in my eyes (and two attorney friends who attended agree) we saw the reincarnation of Atticus Finch. Passionate dedication with outstanding knowledge of the law and courtroom procedure finally brought true justice to me. If you want the best; she is who you need. Her assistant and entire law firm were an integral part of my defense and provided the support she exercised in the courtroom. Outstanding in every way.

Facing (2) Felony 1 charges which could have meant 60 years in prison, or essentially life in prison, at the age of 49. How I found Atty. Moss, was nothing short of a miracle. She is experienced, caring, knowledgeable.....but it was really more than that. SHE CARED!! She cared about me, my case, my situation. She expressed empathy and understanding. I know you read things like this about a lot of attorneys in these reviews, but in this case, it is true. I almost felt as if she was fighting for the very life of her own daughter, and was not going to let anything stand in her way to protect me. She is a fighter and she does not give in or give up. When EVERYONE told me I was going to prison for something I did not do, Atty. Moss turned the tables and exposed the truth. I owe her my life!! She got all the charges dismissed. THERE IS NOT ANOTHER ATTORNEY OUT THERE THAT COULD HAVE DONE THIS. If you are reading this, I urge you to go see Atty. Moss, in person. She does not sugar coat things, so don't look for salve on the wound when you first meet her. But know this,....if there is a good outcome that can be gotten, she will get it for you. Weekends, nights, days, she is always there to answer you, and sometimes, even hold your hand and tell you it will be okay. In the deepest despair of my life, Atty Moss supported me throughout the entire experience. I will never be able to repay her for that. If you don't hire her, then you are not looking for the best outcome.

Ms. Moss was very helpful and supportive through out my entire court process and was instrumental in having my case moved to Pinellas county . Ms. Moss kept me informed and was always available to answer any questions or concerns on my case.

Never having gone through anything in my life quite like what my family and I have endured as it pertained to my criminal case, Debbie was our rock. She was so many things we needed when we needed them, supportive, understanding, compassionate, hardworking and a focused listener to name a few. Debbie had a complete understanding of my case, from the details of the case, to selecting the jury, an understanding of Judge trying my case and how to defend me against the State Attorney's case. Her knowledge of law as it pertained to my case was amazing. It seemed as if she knew more about my case and how to defend me than I did. I can not say how much my family and I appreciate Debbie. I will never forget what Debbie has done for me and will never forget the day that the Judge and Jury found me innocent and validated for everyone what I already knew. As far as the Firm she is a Partner of, they were always professional, courteous and very helpful. My experience overall was "Best of the Best" and would recommend this firm especially Deborah Moss.

This attorney likes to work within the court system and is not always the strongest advocate of her client's position. She is very bright but doesn't think outside of the box.
She doesn't appreciate clients who challenge her on occasion, but this problem plagues other professions as well.
