Outcome: Summary Judgment on Invalid Deed

Description: John Doe and Jane Doe were an elderly couple who sought assistance making payments on their home, and ended up essentially selling half their home to a California company for approximately $1500.00 in a land trust scheme. After five months, the Judge ruled on the motion for summary judgment and set aside the deed which took the home away from them, and then gave the home back to them, giving them the benefit of the payments made by the California company on their behalf.
